2001 V6 PASSAT... THIS CAR HAS BEEN WELL CARED FOR...BODY IS IN ALMOST NEW CONDITION/ INTERIOR SHOWS VERY LITTLE WEAR.
IT HAS 15239 MILES.. BEING SOLD STRICKLY AS IS. LAST SUMMER THE CAR HAD A BROKEN BELT, AFTER THE BELT WAS REPLACED, THERE WAS AN ENGINE NOISE. I HAVE HAD TOO MANY OPINIONS OF WHAT IT COULD BE WITHOUT TAKING THE ENGINE APART. I DONT WANT THAT COST TO OPEN IT UP FOR EXPLORITORY GUESSING, SO IT IS FOR SALE AT A CHEAP PRICE TO MOVE IT QUICKLY. LAST SUMMER IT STARTED, MOVED ON ITS OWN... OVER THE WINTER THE 2 YEAR OLD BATT. NO LONGER STARTS/OPERATES. NOW THE CAR WONT START - PROBABLY DUE TO THE BATTERY... BUT I AM NOT PUTTING ANY MORE INTO IT. SO YOU HAVE A GREAT DEAL GOING ON HERE... LOW RESERVED PRICE.. HAPPY BIDDING. THE DEPOSIT IS NECESSARY IMMED. PAYMENT IS PREF. VIA PAYPAL VS. OTHER METHODS, BUT WILL TAKE OTHER METHODS - BUT ALL FUNDS MUST CLEAR FIRST. I DO NOT NOR WILL NOT PAY THE TRANSPORTER FOR YOU... THAT MUST BE TOTALLY IN PLACE BEFORE THEY ARRIVE.
NOTE... NOTE... NOTE: THIS IS A STOCK PHOTO OF A PASSAT, BUT MY CAR LOOKS VERY VERY CLOSE TO THIS ONE.
WHAT OTHER THINGS ARE WRONG WITH THE CAR: THE GAS DOOR LATCH NEEDS WORK, THE HOOD PROP NEEDS REPLACING, THE ARM REST BETWEEN FRONT SEATS IS NO LONGER ATTACHED - BUT SITS THERE WITHOUT PROBLEMS, THE ABS BRAKING SYSTEM HAS ISSUES - SO IT IS DISCONNECT (CAR RAN FINE WITHOUT THAT CONNECTED).
VERY SERIOUS LOOKERS ONLY -- PLEASE DO NOT WASTE MY TIME NOR YOURS. THE CAR IS BEING SOLD AS IS, NOT RUNNING - YOU FIND OUT WHAT IS WRONG WITH IT.
On May-30-13 at 07:22:03 PDT, seller added the following information:
ALSO... VERY VERY VERY IMPORTANT!!!!!!
IF... IF YOU DO NOT HAVE AN EBAY HISTORY ON YOUR ACCOUNT OF PURCHASES... BE SURE YOU UNDERSTAND THAT AN IMMEDIATE DEPOSIT... NON REFUNDABLE IS DUE AT THE END OF THE AUCTION.
ALSO, YOU MUST HAVE FULL ARRANGEMENTS MADE FOR THE TRANSPORTER IN PLACE AND PRE-PAID BY YOU WITHIN THE GUIDELINES OF EBAY STANDARDS.
I know this sounds ridged but, I have had very bad experiences with scammers on high ticket items... fake cashiers cheques, fake transporter situations/payments... I do not tolerate this and I do report these illegal actions to the FBI. So please be honest in your dealings and do not waste my time nor yours.

Who wants to pay a million dollars for a VW Beetle?
Mon, Jun 1 2015The Volkswagen Beetle was always envisioned as a cheap mode of transportation, but now one is being offered for over $1 million by a dealer in the company's home base of Wolfsburg, Germany. So just what makes this Beetle so special? It's not the first one made, and it's not the last one made – but it comes close: This particular example is an Ultima Edicion – one of the final Bugs made in Mexico before production ended even there in 2003. It's decked out in beige with a black fabric interior and none – repeat, none – of the bells and whistles. With less than 75 miles on the odometer, it offers one wealthy buyer the rare opportunity to get an original Beetle (not some modernized incarnation thereof) in factory-fresh condition, which no one has been able to do for over a dozen years now. Does that make it worth the million-euro ($1.1M) asking price? Not if you ask us, no. But then we wouldn't count ourselves among the most dedicated Beetle fanatics out there.
Audi says fixing diesel emission problem is simple
Fri, Dec 11 2015Audi reportedly has a simple repair nearly ready to fix the emissions problem on 85,000 vehicles with the 3.0-liter TDI V6 in the US. "Swift, straightforward and customer-friendly solutions are in discussion," company exec Rupert Stadler told workers in Germany, according to Reuters. In late November, Audi announced that the 3.0 TDI had three previously undisclosed auxiliary emission control devices, including one that was potentially considered a defeat device under US law. At the time, the German automaker claimed it could repair the problem with just a software update. Stadler's statement indicates that just such a simple fix might be on the way. Even before Audi's disclosure of the emission control devices, the Environmental Protection Agency issued a notice of violation against the 3.0-liter TDI for allegedly having software to defeat emissions tests, and the agency later expanded the scope to any vehicle with the engine from 2009 through 2016. The affected models include the Audi A6, A7, A8, Q5, Q7, Volkswagen Touareg, and Porsche Cayenne. New diesel versions of these vehicles have a stop-sale. Audi offered owners of affected vehicles the same $1,000 Goodwill Package that parent company VW offered to its affected diesel owners. The money is split up into a $500 gift card and $500 to spend at the Audi dealer. The package also comes with extended roadside assistance. Audi needs to find a solution quickly because it's under a 45-day deadline from the California Air Resources Board to submit a recall plan for the 15,000 vehicles with the 3.0 TDI in the state. The automaker also must include a report on any effects to fuel economy and performance from the proposed repair. Related Video:
Ten of the greatest Super Bowl car commercials of all time
Thu, Jan 28 2016With an average of over 100 million viewers each year, the Super Bowl always has advertisers bringing out the big guns. And for those among us who don't know the difference between a safety and a touchback, those commercials can be one of the most compelling aspects of the annual ritual. Car companies, in particular, have a long history of making the most of the huge Super Bowl audience by debuting some of the most memorable advertisements that have ever aired on television. So, in preparation for the new batch we'll be seeing this coming Sunday, here's a collection of our favorites from the past. 10. Audi – The Godfather When Audi created this homage to the quintessential gangster movie to promote its newest sports car, the company managed to make a commercial that was simultaneously funny, a little bit disturbing, and most importantly memorable. 9. Maserati – Strike This one might start out slow, but it delivers not only with the wicked sound of the third-generation Ghibli's engine, but with an interesting message about hubris in the auto industry as well. 8. Nissan 300ZX Twin-Turbo – Dream Directed by none other than Ridley Scott (Blade Runner, Alien), this dystopian spot has centers around a narrator who explains that in his dream the bad guys are unable to catch him despite their best efforts by way of street bikes, race cars, and supersonic jets. While the twin-turbocharged 300ZX car was certainly a performance powerhouse to be reckoned with in its day, the concept and execution of this one does come off a little bit campy now – but in a good way. Then again, it is a dream, after all. 7. General Motors – Robot This one is unique in that it's genuinely depressing on a profound level. Who would've thought that the simulated suicide of a lovable, anthropomorphic car-building robot who has fallen on hard times could be such a downer? 6. Nissan – With Dad Although the debut season of its new LMP1 racer didn't exactly turn out how the team hoped it would, there's no denying that Nissan's depiction of a strained father-and-son relationship that eventually leads to redemption (and the introduction of the 2016 Maxima) tugs at the heartstrings. 5. Volkswagen – Big Day A surprisingly poignant advert, this one might be low on dialogue but it certainly gets its message across. And just as the dramatic soundtrack begins to lull the viewer into a sense of security, our expectations are upended. 4.
