This was bought from an insurance company. This was repaired by the insurance company and the owner rejected it because it was brand new. This had MINOR damage to the front right (so minor the Insurance co made them fix it). They replaced the right fender. The repair is perfect except one paint imperfection above the passenger front door handle (the size of a half dollar). This car is no different that one at the dealer. It is perfect like new. *** If you chose for us to help assist you and provide a "rebuilt" title for the $190 you must first pay in full for the vehicle. We then submit the title to the state of AL. It takes about 10 days for the State Inspector to come out to inspect the VIN (which takes 60 seconds). On the day he comes out then we can release the vehicle for transport or you can pick it up. The title then arrives 10 days after the inspection date which will send to you. The vehicle would then need to be picked up in Huntsville, AL which is where it would be inspected. This "rebuilt" title is taggable on the spot and treated like a normal title. Some states will make the rebuilt title be re-inspected to verify VIN.

Forgive the ribbon up top - this isn't so much of a Read This as a Look At This. Ran When Parked took a tour of the sprawling Volkswagen Museum in Wolfsburg, and while there's a spot of text about the different and unique vehicles on display in the rotating exhibits, it's largely the collection of pictures of odd, one-off VW-badged cars and vans that excites. If you're a fan of the weird and wild, this is a post you'll want to look at.
As RWP points out, this is the larger, but less busy, museum targeted purely at Volkswagen products. The smaller AutoStadt museum, meanwhile, covers a much broader swath, with products from other Volkswagen Group members. Volkswagen names new chief designer for Bentley

The Volkswagen Group has named one of its own to head up the design department at its Bentley division. The role now falls to Stefan Sielaff, who has been with the group (off and on) since 1990. Sielaff is principally an interior designer, but has been tasked with setting up numerous overall design offices for Volkswagen and Audi over the years. In his new capacity he'll be reporting to the group's chief engineer Rolf Frech (and oddly not to Bentley chief Wolfgang Durheimer), but at the same time, Sielaff will retain his role as head of interior design for the entire VW group, reporting to its chief designer Walter de Silva. Sielaff replaces Luc Donckerwolke, who has headed up Bentley design since 2012 and is leaving the company. We'll be on the lookout to see where Donckerwolke lands next. As Director of Design at Bentley, Sielaff succeeds Luc Donckerwolke (49), who held this function since 2012. Stefan Sielaff joined the Volkswagen Group in 1990, beginning his career in the interior design department at Audi. From 1995 the design graduate was entrusted with setting up the Group's Design Center Europe in Spain. In 1997 he was placed in charge of the Design Studio in Munich and was appointed Head of Audi Interior Design in the same year. In 2003 Sielaff moved to DaimlerChrysler as Design Director of the Interior Competence Center, returning to the Volkswagen Group in 2006 to become Head of Audi Design before being appointed Head of the Volkswagen Design Center in Potsdam und Head of Group Interior Design Strategy in 2012. In his new function as Director of Design at Bentley, Sielaff reports to Rolf Frech, Board Member for Engineering. In his function as Head of Group Interior Design Strategy he continues to report to Walter de Silva, Head of Group Design. Luc Donckerwolke has decided to leave the company. Volkswagen sketches Geneva-bound concept

Volkswagen has released a pair of sketches that give us our first official glimpse at the company's new concept car, set to debut at the Geneva Motor Show next week. Details are slim – the car doesn't even have a name yet Â– but we do have some facts about VW's swoopy new showcar. First off, it's a sedan Â– well, "four-door coupe" Â– but is said to have a hatchback configuration. Autoblog has also learned that the car will be powered by a hybrid powertrain, using a TSI gasoline engine paired with two electric motors, and uses an all-wheel-drive configuration that's likely similar to that in the recently unveiled Cross Coupe GTE concept. Volkswagen says this showcar uses a new, progressive design language for the brand. And while it sort of looks like a dead ringer for a new CC, we're told this concept is positioned above that model. For now, that's all we know, but we expect a host of other details to be released closer to the car's official debut in Geneva next week. Stay tuned.
