This is an adult-owned car used to commute 70 miles each way to work during the week only (stayed in the garage weekends). Miles are 100% highway miles. This car has been dealer serviced from the day it was purchased new by me and never missed a service call - ever. Oil has always been 100% synthetic and always changed early - records are available at Flemington Volkswagen in Flemington, NJ. You only need to see this car to know that it has been pampered - no stone unturned in its upkeep. A few things to know - the ENTIRE fuel system was replaced (injectors, filters, pumps, etc) back in April and is warranteed for another 18K miles (or next April) - this alone cost just under $7,000 and is the most significant part of the engine. I replaced the front windshield from stone chips about 3,000 miles ago and that was about $500. Most of these are equipped about the same - this one has a few more items than others (like power sunroof, Sirius satellite radio, etc.). I love this car so much that I bought my son the same one - so darned reliable and they cost NOTHING to run!
I had installed a bike rack (hitch). The hitch comes with the car and I might be willing to part with the Thule 2 bike carrier if I do not put a hitch on my new car. I replaced this car with a new Mercedes C Class as my job moved closer to home but I swear that this VW drives better and still burns half the fuel!
This car was involved in two minor accidents approximately 3 years ago and was repaired by a Volkswagen certified repair facility. There are no issues with this car at all.
These cars are made to run forever and I would not hesitate to hold onto this car for another 350,000-400,000 miles if I still had that long of a commute. It served me VERY well and will serve you too for a long, long time. Unbelievable car!
Dealership told me the car is worth over $10,000. I have a starting bid at $6,500 with no reserve and a buy it now price of $10,000. If you see this car you will buy this car - I am certain of this. Price is for local pickup only and please call 215-896-4655 with any questions. Thank you.

Volkswagen drops first teaser of next-gen T6 Transporter
Fri, Mar 20 2015The history of Volkswagen's line of boxy Transporter vans goes all the way back to 1950, and the early models' shape likely ranks in fame with the Beetle. VW Commercial Vehicles is now teasing the next step in that legacy with this sketch of the new T6. Judging by this shot, VW is sticking with the van's familiar, square shape. Although this sketch makes the front end look a bit more curvaceous and possibly with a shorter overhang than the current T5. Finding out the truth won't take long because the T6 will debut on April 15, and it will go on sale in the UK by the end of the year. These days the US commercial van segment is rapidly expanding with new models filling the market. Autoblog reached out to VW spokesperson Mark Gillies to find out if the latest Transporter might come across the Atlantic. "LCVs are under consideration, but there are no plans" to bring the T6 to the US at this time, Gillies said. When it made its public debut in 1950, few could have predicted the enormous impact the Transporter would have in revolutionising the commercial vehicle market, creating a timeless automotive icon in the process. Whilst the Transporter has evolved dramatically during that time the philosophy and vision that created the original still holds true. Getting the job done efficiently and reliably has been at the heart of the Volkswagen philosophy for the past 65 years. Its reputation for rugged reliability has endured over the decades to make the Volkswagen Transporter one of the world's best-selling light commercial vehicles. The sixth-generation Transporter will go on sale in the UK later this year. (ends)
Here are 12 electric pickups in the works
Wed, Oct 21 2020With the unveiling of the GMC Hummer EV, the list of planned electric pickups is expanding. Legacy automakers like Ford and Chevy have theirs coming, as do startups like Tesla, Rivian and Bollinger, as well as some lesser known brands. Here are all the electric pickup trucks we know to be in the works, along with a few that are being discussed or mulled over. The GMC Hummer EV comes out swinging with 1,000 horsepower from GMÂ’s new Ultium electric powertrain program, a wealth of off-road features, a removable roof, Super Cruise and the revival of the Hummer name. WeÂ’ll see the first ones on the road next fall. Tesla Cybertruck Tesla Cybertruck at the Petersen Museum View 14 Photos Tesla revealed the Cybertruck last year with, ahem, unique styling, a number of powertrain options and a claimed range of up to 500 miles. It has a compressed paper dash, a ramp for the bed, and “shatterproof” windows. It has already racked up hundreds of thousands of reservations. It will be built in Texas. It was created with both enthusiasts and workers in mind, with features that can get it to remote places (portal axles, hydro-pneumatic suspension) and to get things done (room for 40 2x4s, equipped with eight 110-volt outlets and one 220-volt outlet). Bollinger also plans to make the B2 Chassis Cab available for fleet customization. Ford F-150 Electric Electric Ford F-150 Towing View 9 Photos WeÂ’ve known this to be in the works since early 2019. Since then, details have trickled out. Back in June, Ford announced its F-150 Electric would be coming within two years. WeÂ’ve seen it pull a million pounds worth of train and trucks, heard it will have more power than any other F-150, and seen its LED-laden front end.
