Timing belt water pump and tensioners just done at the vw dealer for preventative maintenance. ( I have the receipt ). Oil and filter changes with correct oe recommended 5-40 castrol synthetic oil with original oe filters. There are no warning lights on the dash at all. Clean car fax with clean title and no liens. The car needs nothing just get in turn the key and go. As for mods it has a digital controller self level air lift xl slam bags with dual compressors mounted in the spare tire well which is dynomatted to keep the noise away. 18 inch wheels with new nitto 555 tires. volant cai. full stainless turbo back 3inch bb exhaust. stage 2 unitronix tune. euro smoked taillights and mirror signals. new south boost gauge. train horns. led and hid lights. euro projector fogs. VW midsize crossover production headed for Chattanooga

Potential labor woes aside, it looks like Volkswagen's Chattanooga, TN factory must have done something that impressed the bosses in Germany, because it sounds like the three-year-old factory is set to score a second model.
The factory currently builds the Passat, and has been in the running alongside VW's Puebla, Mexico factory to build a new crossover vehicle, likely based on the CrossBlue Concept. According to Bloomberg, a pair of unnamed sources have confirmed that Chattanooga is the favorite ahead of an official announcement.
When last we heard about the CrossBlue Concept, word was that a production decision had been delayed over concerns about the three-row CUV's business case. That August 2013 story claimed that a decision regarding the CrossBlue would be pushed back until early in 2014, which means we're ripe for some sort of news, whether good or bad.

More Fun Than A Prius, Less Sensible Than A TDI
Let's have some fun, and do some math. We're talking pretty rudimentary stuff, multiplication and division, to figure out if the upcoming Volkswagen Jetta Hybrid can make a baseline case for itself against two very strong competitors in this segment. The competitors in question, at least for now, are two more Jettas: the diesel-drinking TDI and the fit-for-the-masses SE with VW's long-serving 2.5-liter engine.
To keep the equations clean and simple (hey, we're writers), we'll calculate based on the most flattering EPA miles per gallon stat from highway driving for all cars, assume a healthy 20,000 miles driven per year, and factor in today's average cost for the respective fuels these three require: diesel (TDI), regular (SE) and premium (Hybrid). We'll also start with the base prices for all models.
