So, as to many of local people this going to come as a shock. I am selling my 2003 GTI with 105k miles on it. The engine itself has 46k after the rebuild. I am just putting this up as a feeler to see what interest is out there. I have recently had some changes in my life and don't know whether to sell her or to keep her. This car has been my pride and joy for the last few years. I bought it from a guy out in California and flew out there and drove it back to Minnesota with out any problems. The car is meticulously maintained by myself and also a local Audi/VW shop and also a body shop. That means when I get a rock chip or anything it is fixed pronto, the car is beautiful! I have gone through and changed a lot about the car since I originally purchased it. A little bit about myself as to why I am a trusted seller. I have been posting on this site since 2006, I am a very reputable person as I run a local retail business and honesty and integrity is what I stand for. I will answer any questions that you guys may have and supply very extensive photos of the car. I also can supply you the phone number of Stellar Autoworks who has worked on my car several occasions that will give you a break down of the car. On to the modification list!

Car is super quick, You can ask any of my friends or people that know me. I baby my car as I don't like things to break. I got this tuned and dynoed for bragging rights . The tune was recently just done. I use to run a Revo BT file but it ran rich and died after boosting. I later found out it that it was a ****ty file. I dynoed 330 whp with the revo.

I am sure I am forgetting some stuff, I will update as I remember. Now the price, this car has over $20k that was put into the car excluding the cost of the car which was 10k. I am not looking to recoup all of my money. I am not looking for low-ballers as I do not have to sell the car. My asking price would start out at $17,500. I would be willing to ship at buyers expense and the price has little room for negotiation if reasonable. I am also interested in trades, I am not saying trade me your 2000 stock jetta or GTI. I am looking for something that is valued the same or cash on your end and audi or BMW would be nice.

Now the pics

2015 VW e-Golf coming to ZEV states for $35,445* this November

Mon, Aug 25 2014

Is $6,465 too much to get someone thinking about buying a Nissan Leaf to opt for the Volkswagen e-Golf instead? That's the price difference between the current EV sales champion, which now starts at $28,980, and the just-announced price for the e-Golf, which will sell for $35,445 in the US when it arrives in about ten states (basically, the ZEV states that follow California's lead in zero-emission vehicle rules) this November and will qualify for the federal tax credit of up to $7,500. VW says that the extra money will get you "the most versatile electric vehicle in its class." There is only one trim line, the SEL Premium, which will be the first VW in the US with all-LED headlights. The car's powertrain numbers pretty much match the Nissan Leaf, though. The e-Golf has a 24.2-kWh lithium-ion battery (the Leaf has a 24-kWh pack) and a 115-hp, 199-pound foot electric motor (107 hp,187 lb-ft in the Leaf). The e-Golf's official EPA numbers are not yet available, but VW says it will have an "average range between 70 and 90 miles." The Leaf has an official EPA range of 84 miles. The e-Golf has a better onboard charger – 7.2 kW vs. 3.6 or 6.6, depending on your Leaf's options – and has SAE Combo fast charging capability as standard. VW is also working with 3Degrees to offset all of the emissions "created from production, distribution and charging of the e-Golf for up to approximately 36,000 miles of driving." VW also announced prices for its lightly facelifted 2015 Jetta today. The base model, the 2.0-liter S with a manual transmission, starts at $17,325 while the top-of-the-line model, the Hybrid SEL Premium, will set you back at least $31,670. The lowest-cost TDI is the S manual, which starts at $21,640 and features VW's new 2.0-liter diesel four. A new limited-edition 1.8 Sport model with a firmer suspension, tinted taillamps and rear spoiler starts at $20,895. All VW prices listed exclude VW's *$820 destination charge and you can find all the details on trim lines in the press releases below.

VW builds 250,000th Passat in Chattanooga in just two years

Sun, 26 May 2013

It hasn't been without incident or union organizing drive, but the Volkswagen plant in Chattanooga, TN has built its 250,000 Passat in just a little over two years. The Night Blue Passat TDI with black leather has come just two years and five weeks after the first customer car came off the line on April 18, 2011.
In the last year the plant operated at the 150,000-unit capacity that it was intended for, but the downturn in Passat sales and subsequent worker layoffs mean it will be a challenge to repeat the feat. The plant does have the world's largest solar park, though, and you can't take that away from them.
You'll find the official hand-clapping in the press release below.
