A beautiful 2002 Eurovan with only 70000 actual miles, runs like new, looks great in and out. We purchased this Eurovan with only 2 front seats. I was able to locate the middle bucket seats also options of a third row bench or bed. I never got to buy the seats and I am selling the van with only two front seats. There is a small dent in the sliding door that can easily be pushed out with no paint damage. Also rear bumper has a small paint crack and I tried to take pictures as accurately as I could of the damages on the van. Front blower motor is not working but the rear blower works. This vehicle is in great mechanical condition, I drive the van every day. Brakes are good, tires very much new and matching all 4. I am selling the van with no reserve to the highest bidder. I require a deposit of $1000.00 within 24 hours from the end of the auction and full payment within 7 days from the time the auction ends. I will deliver the vehicle worldwide and will prepare and assist with delivery although I will not cover any charges for shipping. |

North American car buyers get a bit of a slap in the face when it comes to delivery schedules for new the Volkswagen Golf and pumped-up GTI models. We'll just repeat the old chestnut: It's worth the wait... even though it still stinks. This time around, Western Europe is taking deliveries of the new Golf as we speak, and GTI deliveries start between May and July. North America doesn't get the Mk7 Golf or GTI until about July of 2014.
So we approached our first drive of the new GTI with this chip on our shoulder: "You're making us wait? Well, then at least give us the exact car we'll be able to buy. No compromises, mein freund." And so it was that we extracted nearly all of our drive impressions from behind the wheel of what, for the United States, will technically be a model year 2015 two-door Volkswagen Golf GTI Performance with the standard six-speed manual.

NA auto output to reach 11-year peak
Thu, 13 Jun 2013According to Automotive News, automakers are expected to manufacture 16 million light vehicles in North America in 2013. That's up 500,000 units from last year and marks the largest number since 2002. The prediction comes courtesy of LMC Automotive and IHS Automotive, which point to the improving US economy as a bellwether for total production. LMC Automotive says North America will produce 16 million vehicles while IHS has a slightly more optimistic forecast of 16.1 million units. A total of seven automakers are slated to increase production on the continent this year. Nissan is set to see the largest jump at 20 percent over last year.
Volkswagen, meanwhile, is one of the only manufacturers predicted to scale back production. Analysts expect the German company's output to fall by 23 percent to 170,000 units, thanks in part to slow demand for the Volkswagen Passat and Jetta.
