This is a 2010 Volkswagen with the R Line package. This is an optional exterior package that adds a front air dam fascia, side panels, rear diffuser, R-Line emblems(including door sill plates), and the 18 inch wheels. This package really makes the car look really sporty even though it is a four door. The car is in excellent condition. It is non smoker and garage kept. It rides good and gets very good gas mileage. The tires are in great condition with plenty of wear still on them. Everything works perfectly on the car. It also has an ipod dock that plugs in and stores the ipod in its own compartment in the glovebox. It has plenty of trunk space and you can fold the rear seats down to make the trunk space even larger. As you can tell by the pictures this is a very clean vehicle. Porsche CEO Oliver Blume will be installed as head of the VW brand
Wed, Jun 3 2020Volkswagen Chief Executive Herbert Diess is planning to promote Porsche CEO Oliver Blume to take over as the head of the VW brand, according to a report from Auto Motor und Sport. Citing company sources, the German site said Bernhard Maier, who currently sits at the head of VW's Skoda brand, will lead Porsche in Blume's place. A shuffle at VW isn't surprising. The last thing Volkswagen needs as it transitions away from its long-running "clean diesel" TDI fiasco and into a clean electric ID future is negative press surrounding its burgeoning electrified lineup. Unfortunately, the ID.3 launch has been marred by software issues, with Manager magazine citing company engineers saying "the basic architecture was developed too hastily." Because of that underlying issue, various modules "often do not understand each other" and suffer dropouts. The brand-new eighth-generation Golf launch was also troubled and pushed back due to software problems. And more recently, Volkswagen was forced to pull an advertisement after admitting it was racist and insulting. That marketing misstep, according to the report, will lead to the firing of Chief Marketing Officer Jochen Sengpiehl. Related Video:

VW updates Scirocco with revised styling, new engines
Sun, 16 Feb 2014The Scirocco is undoubtedly one of the better-looking models in the Volkswagen lineup, but introduced back in 2008, it's now been on the market - some markets, anyway - for the better part of six years. VW is said to have an all-new replacement in the works, but before that arrives, the German automaker has announced a facelifted version with revised styling and a new engine lineup.
Set to be revealed at the Geneva Motor Show next month, the new Scirocco benefits from updated styling front and rear, high-tech exterior lighting, a revised cabin space with some throwback retro touches, some new technologies and, of course, an array of fresh wheel options ranging from 17 to 19 inches.
The updated Scirocco will be offered with a wide array of engines right from the get-go, including four gasoline options and two diesels, spanning from 125 horsepower all the way up to the 280-hp Scirocco R. The 2014 model hits European showrooms in August, but unfortunately isn't any more likely to make the transatlantic voyage Stateside than the version it replaces. Still interested?
