THE PREVIOUS OWNER DID NEW CYLINDER HEADS AND RINGS.I THINK THE BOTTOM END HAS ALSO BEEN REBUILT BECAUSE OF THE WAY IT RUNS AND A OFFICIAL VOLKSWAGEN RBUILD STICKER.I HAVE NO PROOF OF THE BOTTOM END ENGINE REBUILD.

IT HAS FOUR HANKOOK RAO8 REINFORCED SIDE WALL TIRES WITH 1000 MILES ON THEM.THESE ARE THE CORRECT TIRES FOR THESE VEHICLES.THE BRAKE SYSTEM HAS BEEN COMPLETELY REDONE;NEW CALIPERS,FRONT ROTORS,REAR SHOES,WHEEL CYLINDERS AND ALL NEW FRONT WHEEL BEARINGS.THE BUS HAS A DUAL BATTERY SET-UP WITH MANUAL ISOLATION SWICTH SO THERE IS NO WORRY OF A DEAD BATTERY WHILE CAMPING.

THE FOLLOWING PARTS HAVE BEEN REPLACED IN THE LAST 500 MILES;SPARK PLUGS.IGN.WIRES,AIR FILTER,A PETRONIC ELECTRONIC IGNITION CONVERSION FROM POINTS.THE TRANS AND DRIVE UNIT HAVE HAD THE FLUID AND FILTER CHAGED ALSO.THE FUE; FILTER AND TWO FOTHE C/V BOOTS HAVE ALSO BEEN REPLACED.

THE BUS ALSO HAS A 1000/2000 WATT 110 POWER INVERTER.

THE FRONT SEATS HAVE BEEN REDONE IN ORIGINAL MATERIAL AND HAVE ALSO BEEN COMPLETLY RESTUFFED WITH NEW PADDING.THE REAR LOWER BED OF THE SAME MATERIAL IS ORIGINAL AND IN GREAT CONDITION.THERE IS A NEW WATER PUMP FOR THE SINK AND THE WATER TANK IS LEAK-FREE.THE SIDE PANELS AND THE FONT DOORS AND THE FRONT KIK PANELS HAVE ALL BEEN REDONE IN BALTIC BIRCH THE SAME STUFF THAT WAS USED IN THE EARLIER BUS INTERIORS.THE FRONT OF THE CABIENTS HAVE ALLBEEN REDONE IN CHERRY WOOD TO MATCH THE ORIGINAL AS CLOSE AS POSSABLE.THE CARPET IN THE REAR HAS BEEN REPLACED WITH A CLOSE REPLACEMENT.THE WOODED BOX YOU SEE ON THE FLOOR INSIDE THE SIDE DOOR GOES WITH THE BUS AND JUST FOR STORAGE.IT IS NOT MOUNTED TO THE FLOOR AND CAN BE REMOVED IF YOU WANT.

THERE IS AN ALPINE STEREO THAT IS ONLY ABOUT A YEAR OLD.IT HAS RCA AND USB PLUGS BUILT IN SO YOU CAN PLAY I PODS OR WHATEVER.THER ARE SIX SPEAKERS IN THE BUS IN THE FRONT DOORS AND BY THE REA BED.

Volkswagen New Midsize Coupe Concept is an aspirational Jetta

Meet the Volkswagen baby CC. Okay, that's not really it's name (VW calls it the New Midsize Coupe Concept), but this sleek, four-door coupe draws more than a little inspiration from the CC while riding on VW's MQB platform.
It's a looker, we think, and is an eye-pleasing departure from the bland styling of the current Jetta. The sleeker front end is complemented by a wider body overall (it's wider than a Passat), while the more sporting roofline and the sharp rear fascia gives the New Midsize Coupe a decidedly sporting character. LED head- and taillights add a bit more personality to this already stylish design.
Thanks to its 2.0-liter, turbocharged four-cylinder, it should get along rather sportingly, as well. The run to 62 miles per hour takes just 6.5 seconds thanks to the 217 horsepower on offer. A seven-speed dual-clutch automatic is also fitted, and contributes to an estimated 37 miles per gallon.

Europeans get first crack at new Golf Variant wagon

Just last week, when we brought you news of a new Volkswagen Golf variant out and testing in Europe, we had no idea we were being so literal with out description. For it seems that VW has every intention of calling its new Golf wagon, making its Geneva debut, the "Golf Variant."
Odd/interesting sobriquets taken as read then, there's a lot to like about this new small wagon from VW. The Variant will shed some 232 pounds in this generation, and will come to market with two efficient TDI engines. Volkswagen isn't giving us displacement figures for either yet, but we're told the diesels will come with outputs of 110 and 150 horsepower. The 110-hp TDI BlueMotion Varient will be good for a whopping 71.3 miles per gallon on the European cycle, when mated to the six-speed manual transmission.
The German automaker has brought along an all-wheel-drive 4Motion version of the Gold Variant to bow in Geneva, as well, and a natural gas-burning TGI BlueMotion is said to be "in the pipeline."

Volkswagen Multivan Alltrack Concept takes the luxury van life off road

Volkswagen dug into its commercial vehicle fleet for its latest Geneva Motor Show concept, blending the versatile body of the T5 MultiVan with a luxuriously appointed interior, 4Motion all-wheel drive and a thrifty diesel powertrain.
That 177-horsepower diesel engine routes its power to the AWD system through a seven-speed dual-clutch transmission. Based on that alone, we'd expect the Multivan Alltrack's behind-the-wheel experience to be somewhat familiar. That all-wheel-drive system and van body contribute to the 21-degree approach and 15-degree departure angles of this soft-roading MultiVan.
What wouldn't be familiar is its exquisite cabin. Volkswagen opted for a nautical theme for the concept's interior, featuring grey-blue leather seats from Poltrona Frau and a floor finished in real wood. The dark wood trim can also be found throughout the interior, running below the windows and on the dash.
