Slammed 1978 Baywindow Bus Kombi   Price: $13500
Hello, I'm placing my Bus back on the market to serious offers. My apologize to the UK and France , i know there are a couple of you very interested however shipping is not something i prefer to do.

1978 Baywindow Bus
Clean Title
Runs excellent and driven daily ( smog passed ) Feb 2015 Tags
80xxx on odometer
Great compression
Recent brake serviced, oil, spark plugs and wires
All electrical works, wipers, horn, radio, doom lights, even reverse lights
All original paint ( Great patina) and a great retro oldschool paint you just dont see anymore!
All door mechanism work.
original interior in excellent condition all panels, rubber mats, and trunk carpet with Great original headliner!
All seats including middle seat are in excellent condition, no rips and very clean

Any rust?? Bus only has surface rust in the usual areas making a awesome original patina...there is no cancer forming on the bus at this time. I would say the "worst" area if i had to say would be the front windshield area, but even then it's more of a surface rust. If i was to keep i wouldnt touch it other than replacing the front window rubber.
Battery tray is great, no rust. Front driver and passenger area has rust that is starting to form but no cancer.

New Rims and New Tires
4 1/2 inch adjustable narrow beam
2 1/2 inch drop spindles
1/2 inch front tubing
Notched rear end
Lowered adjustable spring Plates, I have the original spring plates on the bus right now, they are modified and ride great but i can included adjustable for the right price.

Bus is slammed but its still my daily driver and can easily be raised up a bit for those who hate speed bumps ;) Overall its a great ride for being as low as it is. I do take it on the freeway often but mostly all around town, cruise nights, shows etc.

Im sure im forgetting things so any questions just call or text 8187205797
Looking for serious offers and possible TRADES plus cash ( cash is king)
Asking 13.5k OBO for an original patina slammed Bay!

Below are a couple links, first is a good walk through and the other is a freeway cruise.!! enjoy

Dodge Demon 170 reveal experience, Supercharging a non-Tesla and the BMW XM | Autoblog Podcast #774

Fri, Mar 31 2023

In this episode of the Autoblog Podcast, Editor-in-Chief Greg Migliore is joined by Road Test Editor Zac Palmer. They start off with what it was like to be at the reveal for the 2023 Dodge Challenger SRT Demon 170 out in Las Vegas. From there, they explore news of the 2024 Acura Integra Type S being revealed to have 5 more horsepower than the Civic Type R. And to round out the news section, there's an Explorer EV out, but it's only for Europe. After that, the two discuss the cars they've been driving, including the 2023 BMW XM, VW Jetta Sport with a manual transmission, our long-term Toyota Sienna minivan and what it was like to charge our long-term Kia EV6 on a Tesla Supercharger. Lastly, the pair spend some money to help a listener buy a car for their daughter who is just starting to drive. Volkswagen hatches hotter GTI in Geneva

Tue, 05 Mar 2013

The all-new seventh-generation Volkswagen Golf hasn't even launched here in the United States, but over in Geneva, we're already getting our first glimpse at the hotter GTI hatchback. The fancy new Mk VII Golf is already off to a healthy start with positive reviews in Europe, and we have no doubt that this next GTI will work hard to regain its title as king of the hot hatches.
The big news for this generation of GTI is that for the first time ever, Volkswagen is actually offering two different power grades for the model, both relying on the 2.0-liter turbocharged inline-four. Standard cars pack 220 horsepower and 258 pound-feet of torque, but an optional performance pack ups the horsepower number to 230. Hitting 60 miles per hour takes 6.5 seconds (6.4 with the performance pack) and top speed is quoted at 153 mph (or 155 with the performance kit). Volkswagen will continue to offer the GTI with both six-speed manual and dual-clutch transmissions.
On the visual front, the sub-3,000-pound GTI adds the usual bit of hot hatch aggression over the standard Golf, and those changes carry over to the interior with a flat-bottomed wheel and, of course, plaid seats. She's certainly a looker, and while some of us do find the new Golf's design to be a bit staid and evolutionary, the enhancements for the GTI indeed tug on our enthusiast heart strings.
