This is an AMAZING
ORIGINAL 1967 Volkswagen Deluxe Bug. I acquired this little car from the
original owner's estate. It had one re-spray in its original desirable Zenith Blue
sometime in the 1980s. The paint is not perfect but has a real nice patina to it. It still has its original sapphire radio. It runs and
drives good as it just recently came out of hibernation and had a light servicing. The bug has always
been garaged and driven on sunny days, hence the condition on the body. Beetles like this don’t come around very often, if ever. It has a 1600cc
dual port engine with a 4 speed manual transmission that performs nicely. The
floors, frame, and body are solid as a rock. The battery area was repaired many
years ago and rock solid. Please keep in mind it's over 40 years old and un-restored.
This is one of the nicer original, un-restored 1967 Deluxe Bugs existing today. This survivor was originally owned by a family near San Francisco who always garaged it and took excellent care of the bug from day one. As you can see by the pictures, it is incredibly well preserved. The body is in excellent original condition, super dry, very straight, and only has some minor dings and scratches which gives it a nice patina considering this 1967 Beetle is already 40 plus years old it's in real nice un-restored condition. The black interior is all complete and tidy and the headliner is nice for its age. The car has a minor exhaust leak and will need some fine tuning to be perfect; this is to be expected with any vintage car. Please note, the black and yellow plate is for display purposes only and doesn’t come with the car. It is tough to find
early beetles in this kind of original condition, especially in regards to the original sheet metal and one that's never
been hit. Still has its original owner's manual as well :) Don’t miss your opportunity to own this NEAT little car. I’m listing it for no reserve so the high bidder wins the bug! I just got the bug registered, YES it has a CLEAR CA title on its way from the DMV. Please feel free to ask any further questions, thanks. This 1967 Deluxe Volkswagen Bug is being listed at NO RESERVE and the high bidder wins. Thank you, good luck and happy bidding. We can assist in working with
your shipper to pickup the vehicle and will sell worldwide, overseas buyers are
welcome to bid. TERMS AND CONDITIONS: I require a $750 non-refundable PayPal deposit immediately upon auction's end. The final purchase price of the 1967 Deluxe Volkswagen Bug will be due and paid in full within (3) business days via bank deposit or wire transfer. Once the funds clear, we will forward you the title once we receive it from the Ca DMV and the 1967 Deluxe Volkswagen Bug will be released to the new owner. The final payment MUST be verified and cleared by our bank prior to releasing the truck. Please, do not bid if you are not a serious buyer and do not have funds readily available. As a bidder, you are urged to inspect and/or ask any questions prior to making a bid. By bidding on this vehicle, you understand and accept that you are bidding to own this vehicle; there will be NO warranties, buybacks, or refunds. All sales are final; no exceptions. The winning bidder must contact us immediately via email upon winning the auction. The email must include all your contact details. This month's deals on wheels: 3 cars with incentives, rebates
Fri, Apr 7 2017On television, they come at you rapid-fire: truck deals, car deals, SUV deals. You don't have time to read the fine print, and many sound too good to be true. What follows are three deals that are both good and true. And check out our entire list of incentives and rebates. VOLKSWAGEN JETTA: With Dieselgate winding down and VW's all-new three-row SUV – the Atlas – winding up, Volkswagen is selling sedans with incentives. The Jetta remains VW's bestseller in the US. If you're looking for an immodest deal on modest transportation, you can do worse than a lease on the 2017 Jetta S. THE DETAILS: Purchase at 0.9% APR (no down payment required, available on new 2017 Jetta models financed by Volkswagen Credit, participating dealers only). At that rate, you could save $1,600 over the life of a loan. Offer ends May 1, but given the tepid market interest in sedans, incentives will probably continue through the balance of the model year. NISSAN TITAN CREW CAB: While some buyers will wait for Nissan's recently announced Titan King Cab, and commercial users will grab the regular cab and 8-foot bed, we'll recommend a lightly optioned 4X4 crew cab with standard V8 power, California-penned sheetmetal and a made-in-America footprint. Nissan's full-size pickup is finally a credible competitor in the pickup segment. THE DETAILS: With $3,500 cash back, on top of whatever deal you negotiate, Nissan is effectively reducing the window sticker of a Titan S crew cab by almost 10 percent. MITSUBISHI OUTLANDER: Some cars show up on buyers' radar, some don't. Some aren't anywhere near the radar room. Mitsubishi's Outlander is one of those. But that doesn't diminish its basic attractiveness, especially for young families looking for an affordable three-row SUV with responsive power and competitive features. Add one of the industry's longest warranties and a compelling deal, and you suddenly have reason to track down a Mitsubishi dealer. THE DETAILS: It couldn't be simpler – negotiate your best deal on a 2017 Mitsubishi Outlander, and then receive a $2,000 rebate; on a remaining 2016, it's $3,000. We'd select a fully-equipped GT 3.0S – AWC, which hooks Mitsubishi's V6 to a conventional automatic (vs. a CVT on lower-priced models) and all-wheel drive. That's a window sticker of about $34,000, and you can count on an aggressive posture by the dealer to get your business. Mitsubishi Nissan Volkswagen Car Buying Buying Guide Truck SUV Sedan
2015 VW Golf R ready for your pre-order on January 8
Mon, Dec 22 2014If you want to be the first person on your block with Volkswagen's latest Golf R parked in your garage, you need to clear some time from your schedule on January 8. On that day, VW is opening the pre-order books for the first 500 Stateside examples of the new hot hatch, and they come with some neat accessories, too. Don't worry about specing just the right Golf R because all 500 early models are identical. In addition to the obvious 2.0-liter turbocharged engine with 292 horsepower 280 pound-feet of torque and 4Motion all-wheel drive, the six-speed dual-clutch gearbox is the only option here. Every one of these hot hatches comes in Lapiz Blue Metallic paint with 19-inch wheels covered in summer performance tires. Based around the DCC and Nav trim, each of them also has VW's adaptive damper system, bi-xenon headlights with LED running lights, a Fender audio system, parking sensors and navigation. Beyond just being the first ones to own VW's latest hot hatch in the US, the deal for these 500 folks also includes a Volkswagen R watch, carbon fiber and stainless steel keychain and a certificate. All three items are serialized to match the VIN of the buyer's Golf R. The total price for each one of these 500 Golf R's is $39,090, plus $820 destination and delivery. But potential buyers don't have to come up with all of that on January 8. They just need to visit VW's Golf R site and pay a $500 reservation fee to get in line, which goes toward the purchase of the car. The money is refundable for anyone who backs out, and any additional orders are put on a waiting list in case of any cancelations.
VW redoes A-ha's 'Take On Me' music video
Wed, 18 Sep 2013Volkswagen has been responsible for its fair share of witty, clever commercials. "Tiny Vader" might be the most popular, but somehow, we think this newest spot will find a big audience. VW delivers not so much a cover, but a reimagining, of 1980s Norwegian pop band A-ha's famous music video for "Take On Me."
The original opens with an animated motorcycle race, which is revealed to be part of a comic book. VW's version replaces the motorcycle with a Passat, which strikes us as an oddly sober choice when there are cars like the GTI and Beetle in VW's portfolio. But never mind that - take a look down below for the entire 46-second spot. For reference, we've also included the original music video. And if you aren't a fan of the musical stylings of A-ha, just think, VW's choice of 1980s music could have been much worse.
