We are selling one of our shop owner's personal cars that he has frequently used as a daily driver for the past year. It is a 1974 Triumph TR6 in mostly original, unrestored condition, that has undergone quite a bit of recent mechanical work and is in excellent driving condition. A list of mechanical work will follow. Aside from this work, the paint is in fair to good condition - it was last repainted about ten years ago and could use a respray as it is starting to crack here and there. The interior is original and fully functional but does show its age. The car will need a new convertible top as the rear window zipper is broken.

Recent mechanical work:
1. Solid aluminum rack mounts, new upper coupling
2.Stainless braided brake flex hoses, new rear wheel cylinders, new master cylinder, ATE Super Blue racing brake fluid
3. New poly upper control arm bushings, new upper ball joints, new 7/8" special order front bar w/ MGB poly frame mounts and new upgraded sway bar end links
4. New poly differential mounts - reenforced differential mount brackets (chassis), they were not cracked originally, new poly rear control arm bushings, poly shock link bushings
5. New tires - Dunlop Signature II 205/70
6. New/Rebuilt clutch hydraulics (new slave)
7. New cooling system hoses (green), new radiator shroud
8. Slightly modified carbs with custom made velocity stacks and air filter assembly
9. New battery and fuse box
10. Recent valve adjustment and new valve cover gasket

All electric components are in excellent working condition.

Jaguar F Type V6 S vs Triumph Street Triple R in open-air track attack

Sun, 21 Sep 2014

Typically, these track battle videos pair up car against car or, in more disparate circumstances, car versus crossover, as we saw the other day. While the outcome of that battle was quite predictable, what'll happen when an equally fetching (and fast) four-wheeler is put up against one of the icons of the two-wheeled world? Evo just had to find out.
Matching up a Jaguar F-Type V6 S Convertible against a Triumph Street Triple R is at least more of an even fight than the last battle between the Porsche Cayman GTS and Macan Turbo. The Triumph has a 675-cc engine to work with, and is very light. Meanwhile, the Jag has a thumping 380-horsepower, 3.0-liter, supercharged V6 to haul about it's considerably heftier heft. Who will come out on top?
You'll need to watch the full video to find out.
