1975 - TR6--This is an original French blue car-It has a brand new paint job on it and is the correct French blue-I bought brand new bumpers for the car at a cost of $1500-I opted for the straight bumpers as I liked the look of them. I do have the original rubber bumper guards for it. I replaced the decals and some of the trim. I then put on brand new 17" Konig wheels on and new tires. I do have the original TR6 wheels that go with the car-The motor runs very good and I believe the 40950 miles to be original-The guy I got the car from gave me a stack of receipts that is 2 inches thick of stuff that has been done to the car over the years and the mileage matches-So I would say its original miles. I just had the carbs adjusted as the car just doesn't get driven. I have put 50 miles on it in 3 years. It doesn't smoke or anything and seems to run very good. I did put a new header on it with a new Monza exhaust-It sounds fantastic. I did keep the original exhaust manifold. The car has a great look and sound to it. The interior is in nice shape but the bottom section of the dash is cracked below the glove box. All the gauges, lights and everything works as it should. It has an aftermarket cd player in it. The frame floor and trunk are all excellent with no repairs or rust issues. I do have pictures of the car while it was being stripped and painted to document the original condition of the car. It was very nice and needed no metal work or panel replacement. I can send you the pics of the car during the paint process if you want. All in all a nice TR6-and in the most desirable color. and it is a True French blue car. The car is located in my Garage in Elmira NY feel from to come and inspect the car. I am a licensed NY dealer-and the car is being sold through my shop so any NY residents will have to pay NY sales tax--I have sold many cars on e-bay and have helped ship them all over the country. Please feel free to contact me with any questions that you may have-I bought the car with the intentions to keep it-But I just don't drive it enough to justify keeping it and storage is limited. Thanks and once again please feel free to ask questions-

Jaguar F Type V6 S vs Triumph Street Triple R in open-air track attack

Sun, 21 Sep 2014

Typically, these track battle videos pair up car against car or, in more disparate circumstances, car versus crossover, as we saw the other day. While the outcome of that battle was quite predictable, what'll happen when an equally fetching (and fast) four-wheeler is put up against one of the icons of the two-wheeled world? Evo just had to find out.
Matching up a Jaguar F-Type V6 S Convertible against a Triumph Street Triple R is at least more of an even fight than the last battle between the Porsche Cayman GTS and Macan Turbo. The Triumph has a 675-cc engine to work with, and is very light. Meanwhile, the Jag has a thumping 380-horsepower, 3.0-liter, supercharged V6 to haul about it's considerably heftier heft. Who will come out on top?
You'll need to watch the full video to find out.
