1975 Triumph Tr 6 Overdrive on 2040-cars
Collegeville, Pennsylvania, United States
1975 Triumph TR 6 . Original overdrive car. Overdrive works . New Clutch. Clutch master cyl, slave cylinder. New brakes. Rebuilt calipers.New stainless steel brake hoses.
New slotted brake discs. New rear brakes. New battery. Frame and floors solid. Car was repainted original color one year ago. New stainless steel exhaust. Four new Michelin radials. Interior is showing its age but is serviceable. Seats have splits. I think a new owner may wish to recover them and replace the interior. The dash is nice, but there are some lines in the varnish. Dash pad, ( top) is perfect. No cracks. Radio does not work. Convertible top (was) new, but an inexperienced person put it down and there is a small cut in the back corner. Its usable. Rear window is clear. All the pollution controls, Pump, pipes etc are still there. Speedometer said 80,000 miles on it but stopped working this spring. I installed a used one. The car is over ten years old so it is sold as " true miles unknown" in Pennsylvania. Its a nice solid car as a daily driver. Starts and runs well. Hard to find an overdrive car. Inspections welcome. If you have low or zero feed back, please contact me before bidding. Please arrange financing or permissions before bidding. ***** a $500.00 non refundable deposit is required within 48 hours of sale via PAY PAL. **** If payment is not made car will be relisted for sale at the end of the 48 hours***** |

Jaguar F Type V6 S vs Triumph Street Triple R in open-air track attack
Sun, 21 Sep 2014Typically, these track battle videos pair up car against car or, in more disparate circumstances, car versus crossover, as we saw the other day. While the outcome of that battle was quite predictable, what'll happen when an equally fetching (and fast) four-wheeler is put up against one of the icons of the two-wheeled world? Evo just had to find out.
Matching up a Jaguar F-Type V6 S Convertible against a Triumph Street Triple R is at least more of an even fight than the last battle between the Porsche Cayman GTS and Macan Turbo. The Triumph has a 675-cc engine to work with, and is very light. Meanwhile, the Jag has a thumping 380-horsepower, 3.0-liter, supercharged V6 to haul about it's considerably heftier heft. Who will come out on top?
You'll need to watch the full video to find out.
