Wow!  If you looking for a reliable and beautiful 74 TR6...you found it.  This car is very strong, runs excellent, does not burn oil, shifts perfectly has a great clutch. Everything on the dash works including heater , fan, dash lights, dimmer, windshield wipers, head lamps, low beam high beam, tail lights break lights blinkers emergency flashers vents and adjustments to vents, sun visors are like new.  All the glass is great, windows go up and down smoothly, windshield is not pitted very clean. One really nice thing the previous owner did was to replace the black cardboard cowling engine shroud with a very nicely fabricated stainless steel one. The previous owner did a great job restoring this car and was a talented mechanic. Has a nice Moto Lita steering wheel.

It looks as good as the pictures....the paint is nearly perfect. NO RUST AT ALL...this is a RUST FREE CAR!! The body is straight goes down the road wonderfully with a throaty Ferrari like sound from the twin tuned exhaust.
If you bid on this car please do so only if you intend to complete the transaction. This means do your homework on the front end, have the car inspected.  An inspection is not that expensive and will give you peace of mind.
If you have cold feet...don't bid on my car!  Go soaks your toes in hot water!  If you are a cry baby, don't BUY my car!  If you think you are getting a pristine show car for what I am expecting to sell the car for...go find one somewhere else and have 25 or 30 K in your pocket to buy it with.  If  you are local, come on by and inspect/drive the car. If you want to put a wrench to the motor after you drive it and see that is solid as can be, you can do so as long as I have the purchase price in my hand in case you screw up.   I have attached a You tube video for your enjoyment. The car is being sold as is, has no warranty express or implied all sales are final.  I will assist in shipping the car to you to the extent that I will drop it off within 30 miles of Walnut Creek to your transport. You accept all the liability of shipping and the cost of shipping the car to you. I expect a non refundable $500 PayPal deposit within 24 hours of your winning bid. The balance of the purchase price wired to my bank. I will then send the pink slip to you via Fed Ex next day delivery.  If you have sub standard EBAY Feedback I reserve the right to cancel your bid.

Jaguar F Type V6 S vs Triumph Street Triple R in open-air track attack

Sun, 21 Sep 2014

Typically, these track battle videos pair up car against car or, in more disparate circumstances, car versus crossover, as we saw the other day. While the outcome of that battle was quite predictable, what'll happen when an equally fetching (and fast) four-wheeler is put up against one of the icons of the two-wheeled world? Evo just had to find out.
Matching up a Jaguar F-Type V6 S Convertible against a Triumph Street Triple R is at least more of an even fight than the last battle between the Porsche Cayman GTS and Macan Turbo. The Triumph has a 675-cc engine to work with, and is very light. Meanwhile, the Jag has a thumping 380-horsepower, 3.0-liter, supercharged V6 to haul about it's considerably heftier heft. Who will come out on top?
You'll need to watch the full video to find out.
