 Up for auction is this beautiful 1974 1/2 TRIUMPH TR-6 ROADSTER white with purple flames EXCELLENT INSIDE & OUT CLASSIC: This restored Southern California car has been very well maintained and looks, runs and, drives fantastic.

This Southern California car is rust free and certain to please. Exterior white paint is in excellent condition and, interior passenger compartment is also in excellent condition including upholstery on seats, dash covering, veneers and, dials. The Triumph TR6 was enthusiastically received as consumers reveled in its final incarnation of the classic formula: old school, but with a healthy kick of life.

 Considered by many as the most charming British roadster of it's era, the TR6 is sought after by collectors and enthusiasts. Here is your TR6 - acclaimed to be the most vibrant, appealing and, civilized among it's class.

These cars were produced from 1969 to 1976. This car comes with the original 2.5 liter inline 6 cylinder engine, dual factory carbs with manual choke, great sounding dual exhaust, and a 4 speed manual transmission with electric over drive that works very well.

These are well performing and fun driving cars with the torque of the inline 6 engine. It has power front disc brakes and drum rear. It has a factory convertible boot,  factory spare wheel with jack & tools.

The interior is in very good shape, soft top has small 1 inch tear but it is in very good shape. The plastic rear window it's clear with no tears. The engine and engine bay is very clean and original and has not been hacked up like so many you see. The car is very structurally sound being from  Southern Calif. The previous owner had it 20 years.

 The floors are very solid and have never been patched or repaired, rocker panels are excellent, trunk is very solid, frame is very solid as well. The 85K miles are believed to be correct.

The paint has a good shine and deep gloss and is not cracking or checking any where. Mechanically this car is wonderful, very easy to start, very peppy, steering and braking is excellent.

These little Triumphs are a very inexpensive way to get into collector cars and are just a blast to tool around in. They have really gotten more popular in the last 5 years and the price is reflecting that and they will only keep climbing in value.

Jaguar F Type V6 S vs Triumph Street Triple R in open-air track attack

Typically, these track battle videos pair up car against car or, in more disparate circumstances, car versus crossover, as we saw the other day. While the outcome of that battle was quite predictable, what'll happen when an equally fetching (and fast) four-wheeler is put up against one of the icons of the two-wheeled world? Evo just had to find out.
Matching up a Jaguar F-Type V6 S Convertible against a Triumph Street Triple R is at least more of an even fight than the last battle between the Porsche Cayman GTS and Macan Turbo. The Triumph has a 675-cc engine to work with, and is very light. Meanwhile, the Jag has a thumping 380-horsepower, 3.0-liter, supercharged V6 to haul about it's considerably heftier heft. Who will come out on top?
