Restoration done on a super nice tr6, this car has always been nice, not a repaired pos. I have known this car since i was in grade school and i am 44 yrs old. .the owner was an Woman that stopped driving it when she was too pregnant to fit behind the wheel, and her husband sent it out for a fresh respray, and never put it back together. He pushed it into the heated, and cooled building and covered it up in 1980. I bought it from him 2 years ago and of course the engine was stuck so I sent it to a shop where it was totally rebuilt for reliability. The brakes and clutch systems are 100% new. new tires all engine systems new or rebuilt,  Carbs  altenator starter fuel pump and so on . Transmission shifts smooth and the electronic overdrive works great.  It comes with all rechromed bumpers and luggage rack. The tail lights headlights bezels are ok but not like new so i have not used them. they are included but if you want this car for show you will need to do some repair on them or replace them. I have a new high quality top and well liner with the car in black and the original seats and door panels that are usable but again if you want it like new you will need new. Missing a few door handles a carpet and side mirrors and  a dash pad and that is about it. I also sent the  dash out to be re finished in burl walnut and it is beautiful. This is a great little car that will last for another 40 years no problem.    My wife needs a 2 horse trailer with living quarters and this car must go in order to do that, my loss your gain . I have over 20k in this project and it is the best of everything. selling with no reserve so bid to win.  I work about 80 hrs per week keeping my wife in the lifestyle that she has become accustom to, so I will only take calls from serious buyers that have the money to complete the sale , thank you Chris  I am 27 miles east of St. Louis Mo. and I can deliver in inclosed trailer for 1.95 per loaded mile.

Jaguar F Type V6 S vs Triumph Street Triple R in open-air track attack

Sun, 21 Sep 2014

Typically, these track battle videos pair up car against car or, in more disparate circumstances, car versus crossover, as we saw the other day. While the outcome of that battle was quite predictable, what'll happen when an equally fetching (and fast) four-wheeler is put up against one of the icons of the two-wheeled world? Evo just had to find out.
Matching up a Jaguar F-Type V6 S Convertible against a Triumph Street Triple R is at least more of an even fight than the last battle between the Porsche Cayman GTS and Macan Turbo. The Triumph has a 675-cc engine to work with, and is very light. Meanwhile, the Jag has a thumping 380-horsepower, 3.0-liter, supercharged V6 to haul about it's considerably heftier heft. Who will come out on top?
You'll need to watch the full video to find out.
