For sale is a 1973 Triumph Spitfire converted to 120V electric by Ampmobile Conversions, Lake Wylie, SC, in 2009. Batteries are now dead and car is not currently driveable. Otherwise, car is in great shape, with new tires, new Robbins vinyl top, new carpet, newly refurbished seats with original powder blue vinyl. New front brakes (pads and calipers). Conversion with Advance DC motor, Curtis 500 amp controller, Curtis PB6 potentiometer, Albright contactors, PDF2000 on-board charger and ten Discover Energy 12A sealed lead acid batteries. Replace the batteries, and you will have a head-turning Classic British Roadster that will NEVER NEED A FILL-UP. Only about 1000 miles since the conversion. When running, she had a range of 25-40 miles with a top speed of at least 50 mph (never really pushed it). The low price speaks for itself. I have about $20000 in this car, but she hasn't been on the road in over a year. I am retiring and relocating and I simply don't have the time or money to get her back in running condition. Jaguar F Type V6 S vs Triumph Street Triple R in open-air track attack

Typically, these track battle videos pair up car against car or, in more disparate circumstances, car versus crossover, as we saw the other day. While the outcome of that battle was quite predictable, what'll happen when an equally fetching (and fast) four-wheeler is put up against one of the icons of the two-wheeled world? Evo just had to find out.
Matching up a Jaguar F-Type V6 S Convertible against a Triumph Street Triple R is at least more of an even fight than the last battle between the Porsche Cayman GTS and Macan Turbo. The Triumph has a 675-cc engine to work with, and is very light. Meanwhile, the Jag has a thumping 380-horsepower, 3.0-liter, supercharged V6 to haul about it's considerably heftier heft. Who will come out on top?
