Matador Red 1975 Spitfire - less than 42K ORIGINAL miles. currently advertised locally for $12,500

Single Strum carb, 1.5L - no performance work - 95% all original. No rust and no bondo. Was garage kept for over 36 years.

Partial off frame restoration has been completed. Has 2 or 3 very minor dents from a limb falling on it.  Needs no maintenance at this time - only minor care required on any Triumph.

Have factory issued hardtop - original and it was painted at the same time as body -  needs headliner replaced. Have original rag top - great condition - no tears, holes, or damage - you can see through the plastic - minimum yellowing. Have tonneau cover. Also have original carpet and boot cover. One or two rivets may need to be replaced.

Tan interior - near perfect - no blemishes in wood dashboard. New carpet - not installed permanent yet. Seats have been re-cushioned and frames were stripped, straightened and painted. Armrest has brittle damage and is taped.

New tires with less than 1000 miles, new titanium clutch approximately 5 years old - less than 3000 miles, new external radiator fan with electronic thermostat - less than 3000 miles, electronic ignition, new muffler. All major work was completed over two years ago and this has been a regular parade and show car.

I've owned the car for a little over six years. I have recently moved and the car is no longer in a garage. It is under cover. Needs a new home to keep it in great condition.

I have a number of misc parts from my search during restoration. Including extra bumpers, bumper guards, tire rings, mirrors, trim, piston, misc lens and small parts. This car has been cared for with a great deal of love and respect. I'm the second owner. I have all parts receipts and maintenance records. Before and after detailed photos, vintage dealership brochure, manual, and lots more.

Jaguar F Type V6 S vs Triumph Street Triple R in open-air track attack

Sun, 21 Sep 2014

Typically, these track battle videos pair up car against car or, in more disparate circumstances, car versus crossover, as we saw the other day. While the outcome of that battle was quite predictable, what'll happen when an equally fetching (and fast) four-wheeler is put up against one of the icons of the two-wheeled world? Evo just had to find out.
Matching up a Jaguar F-Type V6 S Convertible against a Triumph Street Triple R is at least more of an even fight than the last battle between the Porsche Cayman GTS and Macan Turbo. The Triumph has a 675-cc engine to work with, and is very light. Meanwhile, the Jag has a thumping 380-horsepower, 3.0-liter, supercharged V6 to haul about it's considerably heftier heft. Who will come out on top?
You'll need to watch the full video to find out.
