This is a USED 1972 Triumph Spitfire MK IV (1296cc US) with 61,700 original miles. It has FIVE new Kumho Solus KR21 Tires (includes spare!). Also has NEW Rear Shocks, Left Rear Vertical Link, Seat Belts, Engine Mounts, Fuel Pump, Chromed Air FiIter Assembly, and miscellaneous other new items(bulbs, knobs, etc). It has a Brand New Tonneau Cover and a Brand New Convertible Top (not yet installed). Wire wheels were chemically stripped, primed and repainted. Single Stromberg CD150 carb'd engine Runs GREAT! Front end amazingly tight!! Mechanically very sound. Driver's floor pan reinforced with aluminum sheet. Body mount arms reinforced with stainless steel angles. Engine fiber baffles replaced with aluminum panels. All Electrical working (Now! After hours of trouble shooting!). Body needs additional bondo and definitely needs Paint!! Driver's Door stop arm is broken but can be replaced if you want (leaves more room to get in and out!) Interior is in good to fair condition.(Previous owner made some less than stellar repairs in interior on passenger side and it could use carpeting).Brake differential pressure sensing switch needs to be reset (by bleeding brakes). Brake Indicator light and switch work! Shop/Repair Manuals included. This is a Tons of Fun, very driveable vehicle! It is NOT showroom pretty. But is IS fun to drive and reliable! (Hey, it PASSED a MASSACHUSETTS Safety Inspection! THAT's saying something!) Located in West Central MA near Springfield. Can be driven on to car carrier of your choice!

Jaguar F Type V6 S vs Triumph Street Triple R in open-air track attack

Typically, these track battle videos pair up car against car or, in more disparate circumstances, car versus crossover, as we saw the other day. While the outcome of that battle was quite predictable, what'll happen when an equally fetching (and fast) four-wheeler is put up against one of the icons of the two-wheeled world? Evo just had to find out.
Matching up a Jaguar F-Type V6 S Convertible against a Triumph Street Triple R is at least more of an even fight than the last battle between the Porsche Cayman GTS and Macan Turbo. The Triumph has a 675-cc engine to work with, and is very light. Meanwhile, the Jag has a thumping 380-horsepower, 3.0-liter, supercharged V6 to haul about it's considerably heftier heft. Who will come out on top?
