1966 Triumph Spitfire partially restored. New paint, new interior, new tires and so much more to include a ton of "British" custom items that no other Triumph has. Engine with Weber progressive, large radiator, new water pump, 4 speed over drive transmission out of a 70s triumph TR 4. Body was stripped, epoxy primed the floors and under body then painted. Refurbished fuel tank, rebuilt leaf spring, painted drums, driveshaft, axles and frame. Spoke rims were sand blasted and powder coated. New 13" tires mounted after rims were completed. 12 volt conversion, new steering joint, new main seal and rear axle seal....too much to list.
Engine runs great but could use a longer exhaust (exhaust cut for racing by previous owner). We were told the engine had a lower end rebuild about a hundred miles beforehand and a camber compensator was installed. The car needs some more TLCs to be really perfect and done, gauges and electrical definitely need some attention, some cosmetics inside too. Car is actually in the shop for some clutch adjustment but can be visible at any time in Murrieta CA, clear title and current registration.

This a car for a connaisseur, as said in the description, it is not totally finished (dash cover, gauges...) and I will definitely recommend going through the electrical, priced to sell no reserve. Please text for appointment at 949-5oo-43I3 if you wish to see the car in person. no Trades

Jaguar F Type V6 S vs Triumph Street Triple R in open-air track attack

Sun, 21 Sep 2014

Typically, these track battle videos pair up car against car or, in more disparate circumstances, car versus crossover, as we saw the other day. While the outcome of that battle was quite predictable, what'll happen when an equally fetching (and fast) four-wheeler is put up against one of the icons of the two-wheeled world? Evo just had to find out.
Matching up a Jaguar F-Type V6 S Convertible against a Triumph Street Triple R is at least more of an even fight than the last battle between the Porsche Cayman GTS and Macan Turbo. The Triumph has a 675-cc engine to work with, and is very light. Meanwhile, the Jag has a thumping 380-horsepower, 3.0-liter, supercharged V6 to haul about it's considerably heftier heft. Who will come out on top?
You'll need to watch the full video to find out.
