This truck is in excellent condition.  Loaded with sunroof, upgraded stereo with sub-woofer, Bluetooth for phone, compass, XM radio, auxiliary port for iPod or phone, navigation, Homelink garage opener for three doors, Red Rock leather seats, front seat heaters, and fog lights.  It has a leveling kit in the front and has 20" Fuel Throttle rims with Mickey Thompson Baja ATZ Radial tires in LT305/55R20, chrome step bars, Line X spray in bedliner, and Husky floor liners front and back.  It also has a Beltronics RX45 radar and laser detection system installed.  This is a very small unit mounted on the dash under the gauges that is wired to a antenna/receiver mounted behind the bumper.  I know it works as it started going off as I was driving it home after I bought it while radar was on it.  It has stayed off since then as I don't need it.  These start at $800.

Everything on the table - The only dent that I can find I have pictured in a double photo.  I had to find a certain angle for it to show in the picture.  On the pic on the left, the dent is underneath my thumb, showing that it is not that big as you can't see it.  It's about the width of my finger.  It has minor scratch's that obviously show with the black paint and won't show in pictures.  The front tires rub slightly when turning in reverse.  I have a pic that shows the fender well's.  I am the second owner and was told by the original owner that there was some minor repair on the right side.  To my understanding it was light bodywork.  There is nothing that I see at all.  Looks identical to the other side.

This auction is starting at over $7000 under blue book value.  The Buy It Now option is still $5000+ under blue book value not counting any of the extras.

Toyota C-HR hybrid crossover coupe concept leak ahead of Paris

Sun, 21 Sep 2014

Last week, Toyota previewed an upcoming concept called the C-HR and promised it would debut at the upcoming Paris Motor Show. It didn't say much more or give us anything beyond a silhouette and the shape of the lights, but here we have the first images of the finalized form.
The C-HR envisions a hybrid crossover coupe with angular styling that looks ready to take on the Nissan Juke. It's far sportier than a RAV4, and looks closer to how we'd imagine the next-generation Scion FR-S would look like if it were riding on a jacked-up suspension - with some show car elements thrown in for good measure, like a gloating roof, radical lighting and the usual absence of door handles and usable wing mirrors.
Of course, this being a Toyota concept, it packs a hybrid powertrain, although specifications did not leak out along with the images. Overall the form looks pretty striking, if decidedly unsubtle. We'll look forward to bringing you more as the Paris show rapidly approaches.

Toyota to shock with Supra concept for Detroit Auto Show?

Fri, 06 Dec 2013

We've written about approximately 187,000 rumors about a return of the Toyota Supra to the land of living cars. There are a couple of good reasons for this: first, Toyota won't stop dropping hints about a new halo sports car. Late this summer, Toyota sales guru Kazuo Ohara called a Supra successor "one of the options we have" - a comment followed by a hint that there would be "better news" on the subject in the future.
The second reason for all the Toyota tales is, of course, that we all have missed the Supra since its departure from the US market in 1998. So, when a member of the Autoblog team is party to a nudge-and-wink-filled conversation about a new Supra concept headed to January's Detroit Auto Show, we tend to listen up.
A 400+ horsepower hybrid sports car would match up pretty well with the upcoming NSX.

Ever wonder how to really pronounce Japanese automaker names?

Thu, 25 Sep 2014

People tend to get very set in their ways when it comes to the pronunciation of words. Just look at the endless debates over whether or not to say the final 'e' in Porsche (which you should in terms of correct German enunciation). Or the argument about whether to follow the British convention and give the 'u' in Jaguar a special delivery or to say the 'ua' diphthong as more of a 'w' sound, as usually happens in the US.
This short video doesn't answer either of those automotive questions, but it does allow a native Japanese speaker to demonstrate the accepted pronunciations for several, major automakers from the country. One benefit is that it clears up the occasional debate over whether Nissan should be said with a long or short 'i' sound. Also, listen closely to how the female host says Mazda as Matsuda, the way it's actually said in the language. Even if this doesn't change the way you enunciate these brands, at least now you know the accurate way in Japanese.
