I have a beautiful 2000 Toyota Tacoma 4 wd v6 model truck. I believe this to be the limited edition and it is highly sought after by outdoor enthusiasts because it comes with a v6 motor for power 2 different 4 wheel drive settings manual locking hubs and it is a manual. This truck has a factory lift that gives it incredible clearance.

It has never had one single mechanical issue it has never been in one singlE accident and the title is free and clear owned by me.

I will list the cosmetic imperfections because there are some: Passenger and Driver door does not work. You can lock it manually but not with the key. The carpet and the seats show age. windshield has a crack. Carpet has a missing section that is covered by a rug.Cruise control light comes on when switch activated but not engaging( i never used it anyways due to it being a manual transmission) There is a dent in the left fender bumper on the rear. There is some paint missing from the roof on the cab (small section) One locking hub is loose but it makes no difference as I frequently drive in the snow using 4 wheel drive and I frequently have driven down to phoenix and it cruises the freeway very smooth and luxuriously for a truck and once again I have never had one single issue with this truck... It is frequently said that these trucks will last 400,000 miles or more without major repair and I very  strongly believe this one is a candidate....

All Oil has been changed at regular intervals
Clutch Fluid changed at regular intervals
Transmission Fluid changed at regular intervals
Front and Rear differential change at regular intervals
Timing Belt Changed Twice
Brand New Spark Plugs

So basically what is being sold is a truck you can count your life on for reliability with cosmetic imperfections. the heart is there and that is what counts in my opinion. The KBB I l just looked up says in good condtion this is worth 7500. I will give a hint. my reserve is much lower. I literally have an emergency due to a moving situation and I need this moved asap. I am selling it for less no doubt.......

Once again I see now why the KBB price on these is so high. the reliability is simply astonishing and i have frequently talked to my regular mechanic and he said they dont build them like this anymore. the transmission  is built like a tank and the simplicity of this truck is what gives it its reliability. I understand too that parts are very cheap at the right sources should you ever need them. i was always worried about transmission owning other car brands i wont mention and the mechanic simply told me you cant break the transmission on this truck.... I will admit timidly I kind of drive this truck like an old man even though i am middle age. i value and cherish my things and I dont drive them hard. I ave taken care of every single regular service interval this jewel has ever needed and it quite simply has never needed any repairs.... It has never ever needed any major new parts and still cant hear the engine when it is idling at a stop light...

P.S. I WILL POST PICTURES THIS AFTERNOON AFTER THE TOYOTA DEALER IS DONE DETAILING IT. DISCLAIMER NOTICE: THE CURRENT PICTURE POSTED IS NOT MY TRUCK BUT A STOCK PHOTO UNTIL I HAVE PHOTOS OF MY TRUCK TOMMOROW.

On Mar-22-13 at 18:31:27 PDT, seller added the following information:

there is scratches on the paint that can probably be buffed out. i just dont have the time right now. The truck bed has scratches also. I was truly amazed though after it was waxed how beautiful this truck is! There is someone in my area with the exact same truck and it has nowhere near that envious new car shine that this one does.... I am truly proud of this truck....

Best Large SUVs of 2024

Tue, Dec 19 2023

When it comes down to large SUVs, there's more to consider than price and just how large it is. First, it comes down to what's underneath the skin. Some are built on a truck-like body-on-frame chassis — this would be the traditional, literal definition of an "SUV." Others use car-like, unibody construction, which would make them a crossover. What really matters, though, is how you use them. For most American families, a large three-row crossover is going to be your best bet. They have loads of passenger and cargo space, and deliver superior fuel economy, handling and ride quality than those big traditional SUVs. They're cheaper, too. On the other hand, those traditional large SUVs like the Chevy Tahoe and Ford Expedition are better-suited for more heavy-duty tasks like towing. Most now have bigger third rows than big crossovers, while extended-length versions like the Chevy Suburban have way more cargo capacity behind their third rows than everything but an airport shuttle. As for luxury large SUVs, they fall into those same two categories as well, with American choices mostly being truck-based. The pros and cons of choosing one over another are similar. Below, you will find our list of the best large SUVs broken down into three categories: large family crossover, large traditional SUV and large luxury SUVs, which comprise both construction types.  Best Large Family Crossovers  |  Best Large Traditional SUVs  |  Best Large Luxury SUVs Best Large Family Crossovers 2024 Honda Pilot Why it stands out: Exceptional storage and cargo space; unique second-row functionality; refined ride; versatile and capable TrailSport; advanced AWDCould be better: Subpar acceleration with lackadaisical transmission and engine response; so-so driver assistance tech Read our full 2024 Honda Pilot Review The Honda Pilot was completely redesigned for 2023. It maintains its predecessor's family-friendly packaging and overall focus, but it has injected a welcome sense of style (especially in the TrailSport pictured above) that makes it stand out much better from the big crossover crowd. The Pilot's restrained adornment and classic proportions are refreshing compared to the increasingly busy Kia Telluride, Hyundai Palisade and Subaru Ascent. Let's talk about practicality, though, which is ultimately the Pilot's best attribute.

Toyota previews next Lexus RX with Tokyo-bound JDM Harrier

Wed, 13 Nov 2013

The Lexus RX shares much with the Toyota Highlander, but its more direct counterpart is the Toyota Harrrier. Never heard of it? That's because Toyota only sells it at home in Japan, and now it's revealed a new one. So if the Harrier is essentially a Toyota-badged version of the RX, then what's the big deal, you ask? The big deal is that the new Harrier which leaked in July, set to debut at the Tokyo Motor Show next week and which you see here isn't quite the same as the Lexus, and those differences could (and in most cases likely will) make their way over to the RX as well.
For starters, the styling is different. Granted that the Lexus version will almost certainly get a spindle-shaped grille, but even so, the Harrier's nose seems to protrude further than the RX's and the headlamps are a notably different shape. The greenhouse is also a different shape, coming to a sharper point at the back, and the mirrors are fixed to the A-pillar not to the door panel. The taillamps are revised, the tailgate has a new profile and there's a pseudo-diffuser at the bottom of the rear bumper. Subtle changes, to be sure, but then Toyota and Lexus are known for their evolutionary approach to styling. The interior has apparently undergone some updates as well, with a more dynamically styled dashboard, a more symmetrical center stack and different seats, steering wheel, door panels... the works. The infotainment display screen has also moved further down from its position in the current RX.
Toyota will offer the new Harrier with a 2.0-liter four mated to a CVT and driving either the front wheels or all four, and a hybrid setup with a 2.5-liter married to a 140-hp electric motor. The RX is offered here with a 3.5-liter V6 either on its own or with an electric assist. We wouldn't expect Lexus to go swapping the larger engines for the smaller ones, at least not for the US market. There's plenty more to the Harrier, of course, than the similarities and differences to the Lexus RX, and if you're buying a premium crossover in Japan, you can delve into the full details in the press release below, together with the images in the gallery above.
