Here is an awesome Toyota pickup! This truck was bought by me from the original owner whom is a friend from work. I have owned it for 1 year. Truck had 98,600 miles when I got it. Now has 111,370. Truck is in super condition. Original owner took excellent care of it mechanically and appearance wise. Truck has 22re 4cyl with 5 speed trans. Runs and drives great. uses NO oil. I always put new timing chains in any 22re motors I deal with. I did on this one as well. guide rails had not broken in this one. So it has new timing chain kit and new water pump. Original owner had a new fuel pump installed about 3 years ago. Absolutelly NO RUST in the frame. Also has new exhaust. Truck has a/c that works fine. This truck also has rare optional wing glass option. Interior is very nice. has 60/40 split bench with armrest and has very small wear spot on drivers side. I have seat covers on it because of being dirty when I leave work. The dash bezel is cracked. See photos. . The exterior is very nice as well. He had the truck painted about 6-7 years ago. Painted it back factory color but did not put stripe kit back on. The clear coat didn't lay out real glassy and was not wet sanded and buffed. I wet sanded a small area on the bedside and it looked nice. Truck still looks very good. The hood has some clear coat starting to come off. Has rhino liner, sliding rear window, dual factory mirrors. he did not put rear bumper back on after paint was done. it does have a reece hitch though. Has factory sr5 alloys with almost new goodyear wrangler's. Truck does have small rust area above tailpipe which is very common. Has some scratches here and there and one small ding under ext cab window on drivers side. I pointed it out with my finger. The hood has some clear coat coming off. The only thing I know that was ever done to this truck was the hood, grill and bumper were replaced about a month after it was painted. Owners daughter backed a jeep with rear mounted spare into it in his driveway.. Not trying to take anything away from this truck just want to be as honest as possible. The speedometer comes and goes. They have an electronic speed sensor and im sure that's goin bad. This DOES NOT affect the mileage. It works separate from the speedo. Mil;eage is 100 percent legit. Have original manual and window sticker. Please look at all pics. I absolutely do not want to sell this truck but I have purchased a project car and need the funds for that. It is for sale locally so I reserve the right to end auction at anytime without notice. If you have less than 5 ebay transactions, please email me before bidding. Truck will NOT leave premises until I have money in hand. I will rquire a 250 dollar NON REFUNDABLE deposit thru pay pal within 48 hours of auctions end. Please email with any questions. Good Luck!

Toyota i-Road is no less strange in the flesh
Tue, 05 Mar 2013We've seen plenty of three-wheeled creations in our day, but none quite like the Toyota i-Road Concept. The "personal mobility vehicle" offers seating for two with driver and passenger positioned in a tandem position. While that may sound more like a motorcycle than a car, the closed cockpit means riders don't need a helmet. The design also takes a page from the 2008 Peugeot HyMotion3 Concept with an articulating front suspension that allows the driver to lean through corners thanks to "Active Lean" self-balancing technology. Unlike the funky Pug, however, the i-Road is a fully electric plug-in vehicle.
While there are just five-horsepower on hand from an electric motor, the i-Road should serve up a range of around 30 miles thanks to its lithium-ion battery, and Toyota claims the cells can be topped off in three hours with a "conventional domestic power supply." Sounds majestic. Take in the full press release below.
Toyota moving US headquarters to Plano, Texas
Mon, 28 Apr 2014It's official, Toyota is relocating its US operations to Plano, TX. And it won't be a symbolic 'all ranch and no cattle' gesture - the Japanese automaker, whose headquarters have been in California since 1957, has decided to base nearly all of its operations in the Lone Star State, including much of its engineering, finance and sales and marketing teams.
The move, which will see the establishment of a new headquarters campus in the Dallas suburb will not only affect employees at the company's current Torrance, CA Toyota Motor Sales USA campus, it will also touch the lives of thousands of employees at the company's other operations, including 1,000 workers at Toyota Motor Engineering & Manufacturing North America in Erlanger, KY and some New York-based staff as well. The Toyota Technical Center in Ann Arbor, MI is not facing relocation, however, and it actually stands to gain responsibilities as Toyota overhauls its US org chart. Toyota says that its reorganization will affect about 4,000 employees in total.
According to Automotive News, while Toyota is adopting an "'everyone is invited' stance for the relocation," some attrition is expected from employees who aren't interested in relocating southward from the Golden State. For its part, the automaker is reportedly making expenses-paid visits to Plano available to full-time staffers and spouses to help them make the relocation decision, as well as a lump-sump payment if they decide to go through with the move.
JLR shares backstage 'No Time to Die' Range Rover Sport SVR carnage
Sat, Sep 18 2021James Bond's latest adventures will take him to Norway and Scotland, as seen in the trailer for the upcoming "No Time to Die." Somewhere along the way, the British spy encounters a pair of Range Rover Sport SVRs, the ultimate high-performance SUV from JLR's Special Vehicle Operations division in one of the movie's centerpiece car chases. Now, the company has given us a behind-the-scenes look at its filming, and the automotive carnage that ensues. The filmmakers wanted to take a Bond action sequence off-road, and chose the Range Rover Sport SVR as the the bad guys' pursuit vehicle. Armed with a JLR product placement deal (Bond drives a new Defender in another part of the movie) the henchmen had no qualms picking one of the most expensive things on the menu. Unfortunately, that also makes is a bit hard to watch when machines that start at $115,000 are totaled as they careen through the air or roll onto their roofs. The SVRs share a 5.0-liter supercharged V8 with the Jaguar F-Type SVR and are the most powerful vehicles in the Land Rover portfolio. With 575 horsepower and 516 pound-feet of torque on tap, translating to a 0-60 time of 4.3 seconds, they're the perfect weapon for chasing a super-spy down a dirt road. As for Bond himself, 007 makes his escape in a decades-old yellow Toyota Land Cruiser Prado. Specifically, it's a 90-series, a smaller version built from 1996 to 2002 that was never sold in the U.S. but remains popular in other parts of the world. The most powerful engine had just 190 horsepower from a 3.4 liter V6 shared with the similar-era 4Runner. Despite the power discrepancy, Bond manages to dispatch the Range Rovers in spectacular fashion. Wait, this is a Range Rover promo, right? "All the stunts are for real, there's nothing that's CGI'ed," said Neil Layton, the film's action vehicle coordinator. "So to make the cars more dramatic on the screen, we had to turn off a lot of safety feature aids that's on there." Interestingly, another non-JLR product shows up in the video as well. The camera car is a blacked out (to minimize reflection in other cars) Ford F-150 Raptor outfitted with a massive rooftop boom. "No Time to Die" is hits the screens on October 8.
