1987 Toyota Pickup 4x4 on 2040-cars
Columbia, Kentucky, United States
This is almost an almost all original truck with only 101,394 miles. Its original paint which is only a little faded on the hood and roof and only a little surface rust on the roof which can be seen in photos. There has been rhino liner sprayed on bottom of truck for protection only, no rust under rhino liner. Rest of truck is pretty much rust-free including undercarriage. This truck is very clean for model including still having factory floor mats. Interior is all original except for after market stereo. There is a crack in the dash pad which can be seen in photos. Door panels and head liner in great shape. AC works good. Truck uses no oil and leaks very, very little otherwise truck is mechanically sound. Wouldn't be afraid to drive this truck anywhere. New wheels and tires at about 100,000 miles. This truck is pretty much a one owner truck, it was bought new by elderly lady and her daily driver for years. It was always kept on a car port until recently and was serviced regularly. A great truck and would be happy to answer any questions by calling 270-250-2991 and if no answer leave a message and I will call you back. Thanks for looking and God bless. Buyer must pay $500.00 deposit within 12 hours of auction end by paypal and pay rest when vehicle is picked up by cash or cashiers check.

This Irishman really likes the Toyota GT86
Sun, 10 Feb 2013Okay, okay - by this point in time just liking the Toyota GT86 (Scion FR-S, Subaru BRZ, what have you) doesn't make you special. Even if you're a sort of funny sounding, funny looking Irishman, who probably isn't the most seasoned car reviewer ever, digging the GT86 is not news.
However, if, when you choose to publish your ten-minute-long review, you include exclamatory phrases about your own pubic hair, Ozzy Osborne's drug habit and "gentleman vegetable stuff," well sir, then you'll have our attention.
Don't give up on this video, available down below, after the first couple of minutes, we implore you. The silver-tongued Irishman doesn't really get warmed up until four minutes in, or so. Believe us, it's worth the wait.
Jay Leno goes offroading with the legendary Ivan 'Ironman' Stewart
Mon, 17 Nov 2014Jay Leno takes a step outside of his cavernous garage for this latest video for a jaunt into the desert to get a little dirty. He meets up with off-road racing legend Ivan 'Ironman' Stewart, who has multiple Baja 500 and 1000 wins in his motorsports career, to play with a Toyota Tundra in the sand.
Unfortunately, Leno doesn't get to interview Stewart too deeply about his long history in racing, but Ironman does talk a little bit about reading the trail while speeding through the desert. In lieu of a great conversation, there is a ton of high-quality footage of the Toyota bounding through the desert.
This clip feels more like a marketing effort than the usual output from Jay Leno's Garage, but it's still great to see Stewart behind the wheel sliding a truck, just like old times. The two of them even take the truck on a somewhat humorous journey at the end of the video.
Construction of Lexus' first US assembly line underway
Thu, 09 Jan 2014The ES is Lexus' top-selling sedan, but the Japanese luxury marque has never manufactured it outside of Japan. In fact, Lexus has never made any cars in the United States, one of its largest markets worldwide. But that's about to change.
Yesterday, construction began in Georgetown, Kentucky, on the first Lexus assembly line in America, the first concrete (or steel) step in a $360-million expansion of Toyota's plant in the Bluegrass state that will create 750 new jobs. The expansion was announced last April by chief executive Akio Toyoda at the New York Auto Show.
Once the new assembly line gets online in the fall of next year, Toyota plans on building some 50,000 units of the ES each year. Lexus sold a record 72,581 examples of the ES in the United States last year - 30 percent more than the previous year - so Lexus will either have to import some more from overseas or leave some buyers disappointed.
