A real "no excuses" car...
For the last 5 years we have been the 2nd owner of this local car. Bought with 66,250 miles at that time. It was used by my daughter who has left the area for University. The car was originally delivered with the Toyota Factory Extended Warranty which had transferred to us but is now expired. The local Toyota dealer had kept up the maintenance, scheduled or otherwise. The car has been meticulously maintained as I wanted no worries for my daughter.
I have priced the car at the market so it will sell... No games, great car, fair price....
The car has the SE Sport Option which is a cloth Recarro type seats, leather steering wheel and the body kit. From a safety standpoint this car is well rated and has both front and side air bags. When purchased I had the legal anti UV window tint installed to keep the car cool and maintain the interior. It had been regularly washed and waxed. No accidents... It has a Parrot hands-free Bluetooth system that was professionally installed and goes through the factory stereo and has it's own microphone. Legal and safe......
Tires are in very good condition and all service is current including transmission & power steering fluid changes, coolant change and brake system flush. We have both original keys and remote key-less controls as well as all the original books and window sticker. All the tools are there and a trunk carpet mat.

Toyota Prius + gets refresh in UK, is it coming here?
Fri, 10 Oct 2014Toyota has unveiled a mid-cycle refresh of its seven-passenger, UK-market Prius +, known here in the US as the five-passenger Prius V. The revised hybrid MPV now boasts looks inspired by Toyota's more aggressive compact stylings as seen on its new Yaris and Aygo - particularly in the redone front fascia.
The new LED headlights are the most obvious change, sporting a sharper style, while the vertical slats that bookend front fascia are much larger and deeper, and are now home to LED running lights. The lower grille is also newly enlarged and trimmed in black plastic. Changes out back are far less noticeable, with the biggest tweak being a new diffuser that's been integrated into the rear bumper.
The interior gets a light freshening, too, with fresh trimmings around the switchgear, as well as a new 4.2-inch TFT display in the center mounted instrument cluster. The latter includes a new "Eco Judge" function designed to help owners drive more efficiently through a point-based reward system.
Toyota i-ROAD leans its way into the city [w/video]
Mon, 04 Mar 2013According to Toyota, the "i-ROAD takes the company closer to its goal of creating the ultimate range of eco cars." As you're surely aware, that range of eco cars includes the enormously successful Prius family, but this new machine is nothing like the hybrid hatchback. And it's not even a car - Toyota calls the i-ROAD a Personal Mobility Vehicle.
Toyota's i-ROAD Concept, which debuts at this week's Geneva Motor Show, is adorned with just three wheels, meaning it's just as much a motorcycle as it is a car, and the driver and passenger sit in tandem style instead of side-by-side. This arrangement allows for a very thin 850mm width, which is about the same as a large motorcycle. Because the cockpit is enclosed, the occupants don't need helmets, nor are they open to the elements outside.
Also like a traditional two-wheeler, the i-ROAD tilts through the turns and when driving on uneven surfaces. Toyota says its computer-controlled Active Lean technology automatically balances the vehicle with no input from the driver.
Tier 1 suppliers call GM the worst OEM to work with
Mon, 12 May 2014Among automakers with a big US presence, General Motors is the worst to work for, according to a new survey from Tier 1 automotive suppliers, conducted by Planning Perspectives, Inc.
The Detroit-based manufacturer, which has been under fire following the ignition switch recall and its accompanying scandal, finished behind six other automakers with big US manufacturing operations. Suppliers had issues with trust and communications, as well as intellectual property protection. GM was also the least likely to allow suppliers to raise their prices in the face of unexpected increases in material cost, all of which contributed to 55 percent of suppliers saying their relationship with GM was "poor to very poor."
GM's cross-town competitors didn't fare much better. Chrysler finished in fifth place, ahead of GM and behind Dearborn-based Ford, which was passed for third place this year by Nissan. Toyota took the top marks, while Honda captured second place.
