The mileage viewed on this van is accurate.This is a smoke-free and pet free van.There are some dings and scratches exterior and interior.There are rust spots,which I haven take pictures. This vehicle’s engine needs some work. During a snow storm, the van was stuck. Upon trying to accelerate, the van stalled.The van was taken to a Toyota dealership. They determined that the engine had loose rods and the alternator needed to be replaced. The condition of this vehicle's exterior and interior shows family use.The tires have ware. The driver side headlight is cracked. The van is being sold as-is with no warranty. Buyer is responsible for pickup of the van within 5 days of auction end. Winning bidder contact via phone within 24 hours of auction end, and make arrangements for payment at that time. A deposit of 500.00 is due within 24 hours via paypal. Full payment is due within 3 days of auction end. Additional defects of the vehicle include the driver's door does not open well. The door was opened on a windy day and hit a pole a the gas station. The powered window on the driver's side operates on and off. The passenger handle has to be opened from the inside of the van. The sliding door handle is broken. The driver's side armrest is broken off. The breaks may be to be replaced. The air conditioning needs to be recharged.The windows are tinted and the cd/tape player is operative. This was our family van. We would have repaired the van, but now we are downsizing. |

180,000 new vehicles are sitting, derailed by lack of transport trains
Wed, 21 May 2014If you're planning on buying a new car in the next month or so, you might want to pick from what's on the lot, because there could be a long wait for new vehicles from the factory. Locomotives continue to be in short supply in North America, and that's causing major delays for automakers trying to move assembled cars.
According to The Detroit News, there are about 180,000 new vehicles waiting to be transported by rail in North America at the moment. In a normal year, it would be about 69,000. The complications have been industry-wide. Toyota, General Motors, Honda and Ford all reported experiencing some delays, and Chrysler recently had hundreds of minivans sitting on the Detroit waterfront waiting to be shipped out.
The problem is twofold for automakers. First, the fracking boom in the Bakken oil field in the Plains and Canada is monopolizing many locomotives. Second, the long, harsh winter is still causing major delays in freight train travel. The bad weather forced trains to slow down and carry less weight, which caused a backup of goods to transport. The auto companies resorted to moving some vehicles by truck, which was a less efficient but necessary option.
Toyota recalling 20k 2014 and 2015 cars and CUVs with 3.5L engines
Thu, 18 Sep 2014Toyota has announced a recall of roughly 20,000 vehicles covering the 2014 Avalon, Camry, Highlander (pictured) and Sienna, as well as the 2015 Lexus RX luxury crossover. The affected vehicles are all powered the 2GR-FE engine, which in layman's terms, is Toyota's well-regarded 3.5-liter V6.
According to Toyota's statement, a parts supplier might not have welded "the end cap on the right-hand fuel delivery pipe in the engine compartment" correctly, meaning fuel could leak. Leaking fuel, of course, increases the chance of an engine fire. That said, no fires, crashes or injuries have been reported due to the issue.
Owners will be notified to report to dealers, where techs will check the fuel delivery pipe and fit a replacement part as necessary.
