For sale 2013 Toyota Sienna Braun Rampvan Xi Wheelchair Accessible Handicap Conversion Van.            ONLY 821 MILES!!!   MSRP $65,500

Recently we have received delivery of handicap accessible vans that were claimed as flood vehicles by one of the mobility dealers in Alabama.
During heavy rain water level quickly raised and flooded their inventory parking lot. By law, if the water level reaches the lower door seal, insurance has to process those vehicles as floods. All the vehicles we've received are in great condition, have been inspected, cleaned and tested. All necessary repairs have been performed. Every vehicle that we've received looks and smells new, is fully functional and has no signs of water intrusion.
This creates great opportunity to acquire a handicap accessible van at a fraction of the cost!

We have more handicap vans to choose from. Please see our other auctions or contact us for details.

Freedom of Choice - that's what the new Toyota Rampvan Xi adds to already diverse product line-up of BraunAbility. In-floor ramp option stows away neatly under the floor, allowing obstacle-free entry and exit for all passengers. The easy ramp angle and added side rail security makes accessibility a breeze. Add to that the sleek new and improved Step-and-Roll seating, and this is another first class mobility option on a world-class chassis.

BraunAbility Conversion Features:

Quiet Drive: Quiet Drive is a ground-breaking noise reduction technology offered exclusively on all BraunAbility wheelchair vans. Quiet Drive reduces noise for a more enjoyable driving experience by using advanced acoustic techniques to identify and then block noise from entering the vehicle cabin.

Auto Door: The Rampvan Xi wheelchair van's sliding door opens reliably at the touch of a button. This feature can be activated with the standard keychain remote, or with one of the interior control switches.

Auto Ramp: The lightweight aluminum ramp extends and retracts smoothly to allow easy access to the interior for wheelchairs and scooters. A durable, non-skid powder-coated finish ensures superior traction, and the slotted surface helps to prevent your chair from tracking debris into your Rampvan Xi handicap van. The
ramp can also be operated manually
.

Auto Kneel: To make boarding even easier, BraunAbility handicap vans feature an integrated "kneeling" system. An electric actuator lowers the rear suspension while the door opens, which reduces the slope of the auto ramp.

Lowered Floor: From the firewall to the rear axle, the wheelchair van's floor is up to 10" lower than conventional minivans. With a choice of seating positions, wheelchair users can choose to ride in their chair and enjoy the view.

Remote Control: The door, ramp and kneeling functions can be activated by the van's original key remote control. Just press the passenger sliding door button twice, and everything operates automatically.

Wheelchair Tie Down Track System: Each wheelchair van includes a standard floor-track that secures the wheelchair for transit. An optional retractable belt system is a versatile and convenient option. Independent users can even elect to have an automatic tie-down installed.

Removable seating: For those who wish to ride up front or even drive from their wheelchair, BraunAbility makes it easy: simply unlock the seat base and roll the entire seat out of the handicap van. The seats can be reinstalled into the Rampvan Xi just as easily when needed.

Cargo Area: The spare tire is stored below the rear cargo area, providing much more storage space over the 2010 model. Third row roll-and-tumble seats fold forward to offer additional cargo space when needed.

Rear Bench Foot Rest: With a molded flush design, the new footrest for the rear bench seat looks and functions better than ever, it easily folds away when not in use.

Lexus, Mazda win KBB 5-Year Cost To Own Awards

Wed, 05 Feb 2014

We focus a lot on what new cars are like to drive, but it's difficult on a one-week loan to really get a sense of what a car is like to live with. Sure, we try to recreate that sense with our long-term vehicles, but even after a year, it's impossible to know fully learn about a car, particularly in terms of reliability and cost of repairs. For 2014 model year vehicles, Kelley Blue Book has put together a list of the most affordable vehicles over a five-year period.
At the tippy top of the list are Mazda and Lexus, with the Zoom-Zoom automaker winning the award for best non-luxury brand. Lexus, meanwhile, was the most affordable luxury marque over a five-year period. It's interesting to note, though, that not a single Mazda won its segment in this year's awards.
General Motors did quite well, taking eight segments, including both the subcompact and plug-in segments, with the gas-powered Chevrolet Spark and Spark EV. The Chevy Camaro SS and ZL1 took the high-performance car award. Toyota was well represented, with five winners split between the main brand (Corolla, Prius C and Tacoma) and Lexus (LS and RX).

Toyota struggling in Latin American market, attempting recovery

Fri, 30 Aug 2013

With uncertainty in the US and Chinese markets, automakers are scrambling to rev up their efforts in what were traditionally secondary markets. Take Toyota's efforts in Latin America. A recent story from The Wall Street Journal highlights the Japanese brand's push in the southern hemisphere, particularly in Brazil, where it has expanded its operations and installed new executives with a greater range of powers, all in a bid to grab a bigger slice of the ever-growing South American pie.
South America is dominated by General Motors, Fiat and Volkswagen, which maintain a combined 60 percent of the market share - Toyota holds a mere 4.5 percent. The WSJ spoke with Steve St. Angelo, Toyota's boss in Latin America, who said, "We are playing catch up, but we're catching up fast. We now have the resources to give the region the attention it really needs and deserves."
That attention includes an all-new, locally produced small car called the Etios. As bewildering as it seems, Toyota wasn't competing in the low-cost economy car market in South America. With the Etios, which arrived in September of 2012, its sales in the first seven months of 2013 are up 75 percent.

Toyota, Mercedes, BMW top automakers included in List of Best Global Brands

Tue, 01 Oct 2013

Interbrand, a consultancy firm, has published its 13th annual list of the best global brands. Besides seeing some shakeups at the top - Apple and Google unseated Coca-Cola (a company that has dominated the survey since its birth), the 100-item list features 14 automakers, most of which enjoyed double-digit gains in brand value.
Toyota managed to retain its spot as the study's top automaker. It finished the survey in 10th position overall (the same as last year), despite a 17-percent improvement in its brand value, from $29.33 billion to $35.34 billion. Mercedes-Benz, BMW and Honda all made the top 20, at 11th, 12th and 20th place, respectively. Hopping a ways down the list, we come across Volkswagen in 34th place, up from 39th in last year's study, with a brand value of $11.12 billion, a 20-percent improvement over 2012. Ford and Hyundai round out the automakers in the top 50, at 42 and 43.
Porsche made the largest year-over-year gain of any automaker, with its brand value increasing 26 percent to $6.47 billion. Chevrolet meanwhile, cracks the list for the very first time at 89th place. As Interbrand notes, Chevy's inclusion is notable because of the sheer number of vehicles it moves for General Motors and its recent push in developing markets. The final interesting note on this survey is the position of an automaker that takes its name and logo more seriously than perhaps any other - Ferrari. The Italian exotic manufacturer finished 98th out of 100, with just $4.01 billion in brand value, a six-percent improvement over 2012.
