2004 Toyota Sienna Ce Mini Passenger Van 5-door 3.3l One Owner on 2040-cars
Garland, Texas, United States
I AM SELLING MY BEAUTIFUL SIENNA, IT HAS BEEN AN AWESOME VEHICLE FOR MY FAMILY, MOST OF THE MILES ARE FROM FAMILY TRIPS THROUGH THE STATES, IT HAS A STRONG V6 ENGINE AND IT RUNS VERY SMOOTH WITH ICE COLD A/C FRONT AND REAR, IT HAS A THIRD ROW SIT, NO MAJOR MECHANICAL DEFECTS, IT IS EXTREMELY COMFORTABLE AND A PLEASURE TO DRIVE.
THE ABS LIGHT IS ON AND IT REQUIRES A MINOR REPAIR TO GET THE LIGHT TO GO AWAY, BUT IT HAS BEEN THERE SINCE THE VAN HAD ABOUT 40,000 MILES AND IT DOESN'T REPRESENT A PROBLEM AT ALL, IT PASSES INSPECTION JUST FINE. THERE IS A BRACKET THAT NEEDS REPLACED ON THE DOOR AS IT MAKES A KNOCKING SOUND WHEN THE DRIVER DOOR GETS OPEN ALL THE WAY, THE PAINT HAS SOME MINOR BLEMISHES NORMAL FOR A 2004 VEHICLE. I HAVE TAKEN GOOD CARE OF THIS VAN BUT HAVE NO MORE KIDS AT HOME SO ITS TIME TO GET A TRUCK AND LET THE VAN GO, THIS WILL MAKE A VERY DEPENDABLE VEHICLE FOR SOMEBODY AND A REAL GAS SAVER. |

Judge halts Toyota unintended acceleration cases, triggers time for settlement negotiations
Mon, 16 Dec 2013So far, the lawsuits brought forth against Toyota for unintended acceleration have gone both ways: the automaker was found not at fault in a 2009 California crash and liable for a 2007 crash in Oklahoma. Both cases involved a Camry and resulted in fatalities. With a big chunk of these UA cases (around 200) set to his the docket of US District Judge James V. Selna in Santa Ana, California, Bloomberg is reporting that the judge has halted the lawsuits until March after Toyota and its lawyers have had extra time to try and settle the cases.
According to the article, Toyota is looking to take care of the cases out of court with an "intensive settlement process." Having already paid out $1.6 billion in "economic loss" suits, this latest settlement process is aimed at the wrongful death and personal injury cases allegedly associated with unintended acceleration. A hearing for the settlements will be held on January 14 with conferences on the matter commencing in February. There is no word as to when lawsuits may start back up if settlements can't be agreed upon.
Toyota confirms all-wheel drive V8 hybrid for TS040 LMP1 car in 2014
Sun, 02 Feb 2014The 2014 FIA World Endurance Championship is gearing up to be one of the most exciting seasons of endurance racing in recent memory. All of the factory-entered LMP1 class cars are using hybrid powertrains, and Porsche is returning to the top class of the sport after a 16-year absence. Don't count out Toyota, though. The team has just revealed the first official details about its 2014 TS040 LMP1 car, and it has a big surprise - all-wheel drive.
The TS040 will follow Audi's lead and will use a combination motor and generator to power the front wheels. The system will generate power under braking and will use it up when accelerating to give a boost in traction over last year's rear-wheel-drive Toyota TS030. Toyota will stick with a gasoline-fueled, naturally aspirated 3.4-liter V8 to feed the rear wheels and will take on Audi's diesel, turbocharged 3.7-liter V6 and Porsche's gasoline-fueled, turbo 2.0-liter four-cylinder.
Sadly, there are no real pictures of the TS040 yet. Toyota is holding off on unveiling the car until the end of March at the WEC test at the Paul Ricard circuit, and the racing season doesn't begin until April 20 with the 6 Hours of Silverstone. You can read the whole press release about the TS040 below.
