2006 ~Toyota Sienna~ XLE · New Toyota trade! · All-Wheel-Drive! · XLE! · Rear entertainment! · Leather, sunroof! · One owner accident free carfax! · Very clean! · NO RESERVE! Here is a really nice 2006 Toyota Sienna XLE van that was just traded in on a new Toyota! This van has only had one family as its owner and Carfax shows it is completely accident free. It’s loaded with all the goodies such as leather, heated seats, rear entertainment and a sunroof. As the pictures show it is extremely clean inside and out. It drives as good as it looks. I drove it this morning in a foot of snow and the all-wheel-drive system was as impressive as any SUV I have driven. On and off the highway it doesn’t miss a beat. This Sienna was obviously very well cared for by its last owners. I am setting this auction with NO RESERVE. The highest bidder will own it. Feel free to check out my perfect feedback and bid with complete confidence. If you have any questions please feel free to call me at 860-883-8597. Thank you and good luck. Vehicle Condition: This van is in excellent condition inside and out. Runs and drives excellent as well. Very clean vehicle. It does have some scratches and dings as normal with family use. Please all I ask is that you understand this is not a brand new van, but it is a very good condition used Sienna! Payment options: A $500.00 non-refundable deposit is due within 24 hours of the close of the auction. Balance to be paid within 7 days via certified funds. A $299.00 dealer conveyance fee is attached to the final price, this includes visual vehicle safety inspection, paperwork preparation and temporary plate if needed. Vehicle sold as is. We will be happy to assist in pickup at the airport or train station. We will also assist in arranging delivery at your expense. All we ask is you have the funds to back your bids. No excuses! No exceptions! |

Mazda's new Mexican plant capacity rises to 230,000
Sat, 05 Jan 2013After the turmoil of last year, 2013 is getting off to a much better start for Mazda. The company has issued a release indicating that the forthcoming plant in Salamanca, Mexico has had its production capacity raised even though it isn't scheduled to go online until March 2014. The original plans called for a 140,000-unit capacity, 90,000 of that allotted for the Mazda2 and Mazda3, the remaining 50,000 for a small car Mazda would build for Toyota that would be based on the Mazda2. The new plans call for raising that by 90,000 units to a total of 230,000 units within two years, by the end of March 2016, and it looks like it will all go toward Mazda production to satisfy growing demand for Skyactiv vehciles. The Mexican plant's opening will be the return of Mazda manufacturing to North America, after Mazda6 production was moved back to Japan last year.
More good news for the company is that it projects 10 billion yen ($114 million) in net income for the financial year that will end in March. That would be a welcome turnaround from the 100-billion-yen loss in the previous financial year, part of a series of three annual losses in a four-year span.
You'll find the press release with the factory update below.
Toyota GT86 convertible could debut in March
Tue, 27 Nov 2012The dates are lining up, now we wait to see how the badges align. Just before the Toyota GT 86/Scion FR-S/Subaru BRZ line-up was introduced at the Tokyo Motor Show last year, there was a report that Subaru was considering a convertible while Toyota wouldn't even comment on it. That got swapped around when earlier this year the chief engineer on Toyota's side said a convertible was coming, and then a Scion FR-S droptop was confirmed for early 2014.
Autocar now reports that the Toyota GT 86 convertible will make its first appearance at the 2013 Geneva Motor Show in March. In a car whose specs like weight, packaging, horsepower and center of gravity were all tightly controlled to get the most from the least, the changes necessitated by chopping the roof could make this a very different car. It's said to employ a fabric roof to keep a "small" weight gain check, and the suspension will be softened to work more harmoniously with the decreased body stiffness. And somewhere in all that the back seat and trunk space will need to take a hit.
In other news, Autocar says the hi-po GT 86 with some kind of capacitor system instead of batteries is being worked on for 2015.
