Phoenix, Arizona, United States

This is an amazing condition Rav 4. I don't think there is another one this clean for sale anywhere. I fully inspect, recondition and test drive everything I sell. At Certified Rides we only sell super clean reconditioned low mile cars. This Rav4 is no exception! I inspect and go over everything from top to bottom before I list any vehicle for sale. The paint on this one has been buffed and polished to perfection. The body on this truck is very clean besides a few door dings that could be removed by the paintless dent repair guy. The interior has been detailed and shampooed to perfection. Very clean interior and every button and switch in this SUV works correctly. Has power locks, windows, keyless entry and cruise control. The engine and transmission are in very good condition. Nothing to hide here. The bottom of the engine and trans are like new with absolutely no oil or fluid leaks and no seepage. Totally clean and dry and never had any previous leaks because it is so clean under there. I changed the oil with correct weight synthetic blend oil. I changed the trans fluid with synthetic as well. Front brakes are like new with full pad life and the back brakes have been inspected and have lots of life left. Stops straight and smooth with no shake. The tires are Michelin and have at least 90% tread left and no uneven wear, in fact I don't see much if any wear on them. Rides nice down the freeway with no shake. No check engine lights. Comes with a passing 2 year emissions slip to ease your worries. This truck runs perfect and will not disappoint. I would put my own mother or daughter in this SUV for a cross country drive and not worry about the reliability of the truck because this one will make it home. Hard to find them in this nice anymore. This truck has low 99,650 miles but it looks like it has 9,965 miles. It really does show like a new truck. You would have to see this one to believe it. If your looking for the nicest cleanest 2001 Rav4 available in Arizona then you need to come test drive this one today! Please call or text me anytime from 8am until 10pm at 480-236-5857 with any questions or to schedule a drive. I can also text you pictures of any area on this suv that you would like to look at closer. Arizona residence pay sales tax and out of state buyers will pay tax in their respective state. No doc fees! No temp plate fees! No other dealer fees. Just the purchase price plus tax and your on your way home with your new Rav4.

Toyota launches new Passo hatchback in Japan [w/video]
Fri, 18 Apr 2014With considerable manufacturing capacity here in the United States and even a NASCAR program, it'd be all too easy to categorize Toyota as an American automaker. Only it's not. It's Japanese, of course. And back in the Japanese Domestic Market, it offers a whole range of models we'll never see in North America. Models like the Crown sedan, Noah minivan and this, the new Passo hatchback.
Sold in various markets as the Daihatsu Boon, Daihatsu Sirion, Perodua Myvi and (for a time) the Subaru Justy, the Toyota Passo is a compact hatchback that slots in size-wise between the Yaris sold in America and the Aygo offered in Europe (except the Passo is taller than either).
Power comes from a 1.0-liter engine with 69 horsepower that can be had in front- or all-wheel drive, or a 1.3 driving 95 horses to the front wheels alone. A continuously variable transmission is on duty regardless of engine choice. Front-drive models get a stop/start system, but even all-wheel-drive versions are eligible for government tax credits. That's because, though the new Passo only appears to be mildly updated, the engines have been thoroughly reworked to deliver 30-percent better fuel economy than the previous model, coming in 20-percent better than the standards being enacted by the Japanese government for next year.
Toyota Auris Touring Sports is a handsome Prius V alternative [w/videos]
Wed, 06 Mar 2013The Toyota Prius V has a lot to recommend it, but adventurous and sporty styling is not in its repertoire. That's why this new Auris Touring Sports has our attention. Claimed to be the "first full hybrid estate car" in the compact class, this two-box Auris has genuine visual panache to go with its load-lugging capability and parsimonious fuel economy. In the metal, we think its v-shaped grille and headlamp treatment acquits itself better than it does on the new RAV4, a model that shares its new design language.
Built by Toyota UK, the Auris Touring Sports hybrid is powered by a familiar-sounding 1.8-liter gas engine paired with an electric motor, with total system output quoted at 134 horsepower. The model will also be available in a variety of gas or diesel trims if you prefer your vehicle sans electrification (a non-hybrid model is shown). It goes on sale later this year in Europe, but don't hold your breath to see one in North America. Still interested? Scroll below to see a couple of videos and to read the official press release.
Toyota i-ROAD leans its way into the city [w/video]
Mon, 04 Mar 2013According to Toyota, the "i-ROAD takes the company closer to its goal of creating the ultimate range of eco cars." As you're surely aware, that range of eco cars includes the enormously successful Prius family, but this new machine is nothing like the hybrid hatchback. And it's not even a car - Toyota calls the i-ROAD a Personal Mobility Vehicle.
Toyota's i-ROAD Concept, which debuts at this week's Geneva Motor Show, is adorned with just three wheels, meaning it's just as much a motorcycle as it is a car, and the driver and passenger sit in tandem style instead of side-by-side. This arrangement allows for a very thin 850mm width, which is about the same as a large motorcycle. Because the cockpit is enclosed, the occupants don't need helmets, nor are they open to the elements outside.
Also like a traditional two-wheeler, the i-ROAD tilts through the turns and when driving on uneven surfaces. Toyota says its computer-controlled Active Lean technology automatically balances the vehicle with no input from the driver.
