Up for your consideration is my personal vehicle, a 2012 Toyota Prius 3.  Let me start off by saying that the only reason I am selling this vehicle is because I just got a brand new Avalon Hybrid because I needed more space for products.  Before I bought this Prius I sold my 2010 Camry Hybrid with 160k on it.  I am in the automotive business, as I own an agency that represents many automotive aftermarket products.  Lets just say I am quite diligent with preventative maintenance and only use the best products on the market.  I will go into detail with the aftermarket as soon as I list the standard features on this beautiful automobile.  This one has the smart key system, touch screen navigation, bluetooth phone, voice dialing, Entune for Pandora, backup camera, and LED daytime running lights.  I have put just over 28k miles on it since purchasing it new in Florida and have experienced 51 MPG on the highway and 48 around town.  All the highway miles were put on it in Florida as I just moved to Virginia, so the car needs to be picked up here or I can arrange shipping very reasonably within the lower 48.

The previously mentioned aftermarket extras include 17" Moda 5 star wheels with 215/45/17 Continental DWS tires with 85% tread life remaining.  The front calipers are powder coated black clamping down on Centric Sport Stop drilled and slotted rotors.  The stance is slightly lowered with an Eibach Street Spring Kit.  It is lowered approximately 1", similar to the Prius Plus.  I also added a gunmetal finish exhaust tip, AVS Window vent shades, and Toyota Racing Development badging.  All of the accessories have been professionally installed and really enhances the already capable Prius 3.  The tire size is the same size as the Prius Plus so do not worry about lower MPG due to the larger tire size.  Like I mentioned earlier, I bought this car new in July of 2012, I am a huge believer in Toyota and even more specifically there Hybrid models as I am on my 3rd Toyota Hybrid and have logged well over 200k over the past 4 years in 3 hybrids with absolutely no problems other than replacing normal wear items and preventative maintenance.  If you have read this far, I'm sure you are a believer in Toyota and the hybrid technology.

This Prius has been meticulously cleaned and waxed every month.  It is the best deal on Ebay!!  It is a private owner sale.  The car is located in Fredricksburg, VA, about an hour south of Washington DC.  The car must be picked up in Fredricksburg once purchased or arrangements with shipping must be set up.  I have plenty of experience in shipping vehicles, so I would be more than willing to meet the shipper or even put you in contact with one.  I have sold $130k Bentleys and $100k Sema show trucks on Ebay through only pictures with glowing feedback, so bid with confidence and to own!!  The vehicle has the remaining full factory warranty still intact.  Winning bidder must pay a non refundable $500 deposit via paypal within 24 hours.  I have many pics so if you need more just ask me.  Please ask questions and react quick if this is what you're looking for, as I mentioned this is the best deal on Ebay!!!!

Autoblog's Editors' Picks: Our complete list of the best new vehicles

Mon, May 13 2024

It's not easy to earn an “EditorsÂ’ Picks” at Autoblog as part of the rating and review process that every new vehicle goes through. Our editors have been at it a long time, which means weÂ’ve driven and reviewed virtually every new car you can go buy on the dealer lot. There are disagreements, of course, and all vehicles have their strengths and weaknesses, but this list features what we think are the best new vehicles chosen by Autoblog editors. We started this formal review process back in 2018, so there's quite of few of them now. So what does it mean to be an EditorsÂ’ Pick? In short, it means itÂ’s a car that we can highly recommend purchasing. There may be one, multiple, or even zero vehicles in any given segment that we give the green light to. What really matters is that itÂ’s a vehicle that weÂ’d tell a friend or family member to go buy if theyÂ’re considering it, because itÂ’s a very good car. The best way to use this list is is with the navigation links below. Click on a segment, and you'll quickly arrive at the top rated pickup truck or SUV, for example. Use the back button to return to these links and search in another segment, like sedans. If youÂ’ve been keeping up with our monthly series of the latest vehicles to earn EditorsÂ’ Pick status, youÂ’re likely going to be familiar with this list already. If not, welcome to the complete list that weÂ’ll be keeping updated as vehicles enter (and others perhaps exit) the good graces of our editorial team. We rate a new car — giving it a numerical score out of 10 — every time thereÂ’s a significant refresh or if it happens to be an all-new model. Any given vehicle may be impressive on a first drive, but we wait until itÂ’s in the hands of our editors to put it through the same type of testing as every other vehicle that rolls through our test fleet before giving it the EditorsÂ’ Pick badge. This ensures consistency and allows more voices to be heard on each individual model. And just so you donÂ’t think weÂ’ve skipped trims or variants of a model, we hand out the EditorsÂ’ Pick based on the overarching model to keep things consistent. So, when you read that the 3 Series is an EditorsÂ’ Pick, yes, that includes the 330i to the M3 and all the variants in between. If thereÂ’s a particular version of that car we vehemently disagree with, we make sure to call that out.

Toyota launches new Noah, Voxy minivans in Japan [w/videos]

Wed, 22 Jan 2014

We know the feeling: you've got what seems like your whole bloodline to transport, and maybe not quite two of every living kind, but a household pet or two. So you're going to need something big to fit them all. Something like a Toyota Sienna ought to do the trick. But if you live on an Asian island that, we're sorry to say, has been known to flood in what can only be referred to as an Act of God but whose vehicles fall short of such biblical proportions, at least you can get one with a suitably biblical name. (And an awesome one at that, if this writer may say so.)
That would be Noah, the name Toyota gives to its JDM minivan. It's also known as the Voxy, and Toyota has just revealed new versions of both. Previewed in concept form at the recent Tokyo Motor Show, the production Noah and Voxy have been completely redesigned. The boxy form allows for as many as eight seats and a low, flat-folding cargo floor to accommodate your whole clan and all the stuff you could buy from Uniqlo and Muji with the roomiest interior in its class.
Toyota is offering both with a variety of gasoline and hybrid powertrain configurations driving the front wheels or all four through a continuously variable transmission in a range of trim levels starting from 2.18 million yen (equivalent to $20,952 at today's rates) to 3.4 million yen ($32,694). The Voxy is sold through Toyota's network of Netz dealerships across Japan, and the Noah through its parallel Corolla dealers. Along with the pair of video clips and the high-res image galleries top and bottom, there are plenty of details in the press release below, where you can read more about the flexible seating arrangements and all the latest tech. Just don't expect to be reading dimensions measured in cubits and construction from gopher wood.

Consumer Reports says Toyota, Ford, Honda and Chevy are big winners in brand perception survey

Wed, 05 Feb 2014

According to Consumer Reports, the automotive brands that stand out in the minds of car buyers are, in order: Toyota, Ford, Honda and Chevrolet. This news comes after the magazine polled its readers, asking them to take into account vehicle quality, safety, performance, value, fuel economy, design/style, and technology/innovation - which are the factors that car shoppers are most influenced by.
It's important to note that this award is only about perception. In other words, it's perceived quality, not actual quality. "Often, perception can be a trailing indicator, reflecting years of good or bad performance in a category, and it can also be influenced by headlines in the media," said Jeff Bartlett, Consumer Reports deputy automotive editor.
The brand that made the biggest jump in perception amongst Consumer Reports readers is Tesla, which posted an impressive 47-point gain to finish in fifth place. Subaru is also notable for finishing in the top 10, despite being one of the smaller manufacturers doing business in the US. Scroll down below for all the details from Consumer Reports, if you're so inclined.
