2007 Toyota Prius- Original Owner, Low Miles on 2040-cars
Lowell, Massachusetts, United States
Selling our loved prius after owning it since new. Purchased in July 2007 and has seen very little use in the last few years. Zero issues with this car since we've owned it but we've moved on to a slightly larger vehicle to better suit our needs.
Tires were replaced with Michelin' Primacy's 21,000 miles ago and have plenty of life left. Oil change just completed with a full interior detailing. All oil changes have been completed with full synthetic oil by myself or by Toyota dealerships. Standard and Additional Options are: -HID headlights -Traction Control -Stability Control -Back-up Camera -Bluetooth Phone -First Aid Kit -Fog Lights -Anti-Theft -Carpet and All Weather Floor Mats -Smart Keys (2) -JBL Premium Audio system with 6-disk changer and Auxiliary hook-up -Hands Free Phone Control -Font, Passanger, and Curtain Airbags -Satellite Radio -Consistently gets 50+ miles per gallon. Vehicle is in very good condition with no previous accidents. The only blemishes worth noting are scratches along the sides from driveway toddler play. If you would like to see the vehicle, please contact me and we can be available at your request. Thank you, Matthew |

1967 Toyota 2000GT most expensive Asian car ever sold at $1.2M
Fri, 10 May 2013Toyota's agelessly beautiful 2000GT has been sold by RM Auctions for $1.16 million, making it the new record holder for the most expensive Asian car ever sold. As always, rarity played a big factory in driving up the price; just 351 2000GT models were built, and only 62 left-hand-drive cars (like this one). The classic Toyota, standout member of Texas car-collector Don Davies' paddock, was originally a US-delivery car that spent time in a collection back in a Japan before returning to Texas just a short time ago. The car last sold in March of 2011, for just $650,000.
Enthusiasts will recognize the 2000GT as perhaps the most heralded Japanese classic of all time. The Toyota was a contemporary of the Jaguar E-Type - though one that obviously sold in a fraction of the English car's numbers - that was well reviewed by the motoring press of the day. Sometimes referred to as Japan's first supercar, the 2000GT boasted a 150-horsepower, dual overhead cam, 2.0-liter straight-six engine; a five-speed manual transmission; and a reported top speed of over 135 miles per hour.
RM described this record-setting example as, "the finest and most authentic 2000GT to come to market in recent years," equating it with blue chip classic exotics like the Ferrari Daytona and Lamborghini Miura.

Toyota celebrates 30 years of 4Runner with... incentives?
Mon, 24 Feb 2014Many Americans view their 30th birthdays as significant milestones, even though the average life expectancy here is more than 2.5 times that age. So you might think Toyota would be keen to party over the 30th anniversary of its 4Runner, since most models don't even live to half that age. You can put that idea away unless you consider discounts of $500 to $1,000 something worthy of cake and kazoos, since it appears that's all the birthday SUV will get. That's right, not even a trim-and-tape special edition or so much as a sticker. We asked Toyota for comment and were told they had "No other 30th anniversary 4Runner items to announce at the time."
So, about those incentives: they climb from $500 on the SR5 and Trail editions to $750 on Premium models and $1,000 on the Limited trims. Toyota says they're available at dealerships now and will last for the entire year. There's a press release below with a little more background, and there's a sad violin playing somewhere in the distance.
Disappointed, party of one, your table is now ready...
