I am selling a 2005 Toyota Prius Black with 53k miles on it. I purchased it for my wife so that she can drive to school and save gas. It was suppose to be an anniversary gift but she wants to get a cheaper car because we could not afford it in the first place. We have to pay our rent and some bills and I took out our savings to buy the car. We are going to sell it for way less than what we paid for it with NO RESERVE. The car runs really well. There are no mechanical issues with the car. Everything works and it comes with navigation. The title is clean and clear. There is just a small crack on the driver side mirror that does not affect performance of the mirror. Its not a big deal but I try to describe every detail of the car to the best of my knowledge. The only thing are the usual minor dents and scratches. Mostly, it is located on the rear bumper from parking in NYC. This car comes with one remote entry key and it includes alarm as well. There's so many features on this car that I probably don't even know about yet. This is really a great car and I would not sell it if it was not for my situation. Whoever wins this auction is getting a Prius with low mileage below wholesale value. This is the lowest price you will find anywhere. Whoever wins the auction, please do not come and bargain the price with me. The winning bid is what you pay. I know I will lose money on this car so don't come with any less. Im selling this car "as is". Feel free to contact me with any questions. Whoever wins this car is getting the deal of a lifetime. Good luck to all!

What's in a trademark? Sometimes, the next iconic car name
Thu, 07 Aug 2014
The United States Patent and Trademark Office is a treasure trove for auto enthusiasts, especially those who double as conspiracy theorists.
Why has Toyota applied to trademark "Supra," the name of one of its legendary sports cars, even though it hasn't sold one in the United States in 16 years? Why would General Motors continue to register "Chevelle" long after one of the most famous American muscle cars hit the end of the road? And what could Chrysler possibly do with the rights to "313," the area code for Detroit?
Minivan market not what it used to be, but margins make up for it
Thu, 05 Jun 2014
Residual values for last year's minivans are higher than they were in 2000.
Much like the station wagon was the shuttle of Baby Boomer generation, the minivan has been the primary means of transport for Generations X and Y. Just as the boomers abandoned the Country Squire, though, those kids that were toted around in Grand Caravans and Windstars are adults, and they certainly don't want to be seen in the cars their parents drove.
2014 Toyota FJ Cruiser Ultimate Edition
Thu, 10 Jul 2014Introduced at the end of 2006, this is the last year for the Toyota FJ Cruiser, the reincarnated FJ40-series Land Cruiser that will shortly journey to Takama-ga-hara, the Plain of High Heaven. In its first model year, we drove it to SEMA and found it, shall we say, coarse. It bobbled on the freeway and droned in the cabin, its boxy interior providing four bounce-boards for unpleasant frequencies. Tall mirrors helped one work around the eclipse of vision aft of the B-pillars, but navigating traffic required forethought and technique. Its turning circle was measured in kilometers. For the first two years of its life, it needed premium gas. It may have been fun to look at, but we couldn't wait to get out of it.
That's not the case anymore, and now the FJ Cruiser is poised to join a long list of vehicles that got better and better, then got axed.
