For sale is a great running 2004 Toyota Prius. It is very fuel efficient, has a clean Autocheck and is being sold with no reserve.

The 1.5L four cylinder electric/gas engine purrs along without a miss, smoke or fluid loss. The hybrid system is working 100%. It charges and assists as required and the auto stop engages when stopped. There are no "check engine" or warning lights of any kind. The automatic transmission shifts smoothly without any hesitation. The brakes, suspension and steering have no issues. The Virginia inspection just expired. No ehaust leaks.

The exterior is a glossy gray and is very clean. There are no major dents, dings or scratches. No body rust. The windshield is chip and crack free. The lights and lenses are clear and bright with no cracks. The tires are mounted on factory alloy wheels. The front tires have tread but should be replaced soon (see pic).

The interior is tan carpet and cloth seats. No wear areas, stains, rips or holes in either. The interior is clean. There is a factory sound system with CD. All the power options such as windows, cruise control, side mirrors, etc. work as designed. The heat is hot and the AC is cold. No problems.

This is a very nice Toyota Prius. We would consider the condition above average. There are absolutely no mechanical issues and no indication of any impending problems. The new owner will be able to drive home, with confidence, no matter where they live.

Who sold the most small/midsize pickups in 2012? PickupTrucks.com investigates that, too

PickupTrucks.com has taken another look at the sales of its favorite vehicle bodystyle as part of an ongoing series. According to registration data from R.L. Polk, the Toyota Tacoma easily took the crown as America's best-selling mid-sized pickup, with 133,477 units rolling into new homes in 2012. For comparison, the second-place Nissan Frontier only saw 50,566 registrations.
We feel compelled to point out that before Ford pulled the plug on its ancient Ranger, the company was moving some 75,000 units per year. That number had shriveled to 15,662 by 2012, which was still enough to surpass the Honda Ridgeline. Interestingly enough, one person brought home a brand-new Hummer H3T as well. But mid-sized trucks represent only a fraction of total pickup sales. Dealers sold a total of 241,471 midsizers last year compared to 988,326 half-tons.
That segment was dominated by General Motors with 533,814 sales followed by Ford at 478,204. Ram Trucks trailed behind in third with 241,204 units with Toyota close behind at 229,769. Economy-car buyers increasingly get the best deal on technology

One of the great things about technology is – with the exception of Apple products Â– consumers get more for their money every year. For example, the first 1GB USB drive I bought in 2005 cost me $30. Today you can get 10 for that price, delivered to your door thanks to Amazon. The same goes for car tech. Features such as navigation and Bluetooth started out on high-end vehicles before trickling down to entry-level cars. Same with driver assist features ranging from rearview cameras to forward collision warning with automatic emergency braking Â— so now it's not only rich people who are protected in car crashes. I've found that this democratization of tech has reached a point where amenities on low-cost cars can be as good Â— and sometimes even better Â— than those on vehicles costing tens of thousands of dollars more. While attending a media event for the launch of the all-new 2019 Toyota Corolla Hatchback, I was impressed by the car's cool styling and go-kart performance. Equally noteworthy is the amount of standard tech on the low-cost hot hatch. (Pricing will be announced later this month, but expect it to come in a bit higher that the current Corolla iM's roughly $19,000 base.) Even the base SE CVT trim of the 2019 Corolla Hatchback comes with an 8-inch touchscreen and Toyota's Entune 3.0 infotainment system. Among other features, Entune 3.0 provides Wi-Fi capability, Amazon Alexa connectivity, the Entune App Suite for integration of smartphone apps such as Pandora and Yelp and, for the first time in a Toyota, Apple CarPlay (but no Android Auto). The 2019 Corolla Hatchback is also the first North American vehicle to get the second-generation Toyota Safety Sense (TSS) suite of driver assists that's also standard on the base model. TSS 2.0 includes Toyota's Pre-Collision System (forward collision warning with automatic emergency braking) with new daytime and low-light pedestrian detection and daytime cyclist detection features, lane keeping and lane departure alert with steering assist, auto high beams, adaptive cruise control, and road sign detection. While the 2019 Corolla Hatchback sets a new benchmark in standard tech on a budget-mobile, competing cars aren't far behind. The 2018 Honda Fit LX, for example, includes forward collision warning with automatic emergency braking, lane departure warning and assist and adaptive cruise, while the automaker's Lane Departure Mitigation and Lane Watch camera system is added the two top trims.
