We bought this car used - Certified Pre-Owned - from a Toyota dealer. It has had one previous owner. The ONLY reason we are selling this car is because my husband landed a new job with a company vehicle and we no longer need this car or wish to make payments on it while it's sitting in the garage.

It's in great condition and still has a premium extended warranty from Toyota that we purchased along with the vehicle up til 100,000 miles or May, 2015. It includes roadside assistance and also is transferable.

The car is missing the floor mats and there are no mats in the trunk either. We bought it this way. It also has one small dent in a door about the size of a quarter and a few smaller, hardly noticeable dents probably from a shopping cart from previous owner. Other than that, the paint and body is in excellent condition and the inside is in great shape minus regular wear. We just had it detailed, although the car wash place did not remove some small glue spots left from when my husband had his iphone holder on the dash. That can be removed with Goo Gone and a good scrub.

I also want to mention that "Clear" for eBay on the options above means the title is clean, not salvaged and has not been in any accidents. I had someone question that since "clear" often does mean "free and clear" like I have the title and own the car outright. I DO have a loan. In order to buy this car, we will have to arrange (with signed documents, bill of sale, etc.) to mail you (the buyer) or have you pick up the title once I receive it (which would probably take about a month). If necessary, we can go to the DMV together to transfer the car.

No diesels in the running for 2016 Green Car Of The Year

It's a new era for the Green Car Of The Year. In the past, the theme of the award was to take a broad look at alternative powertrains and pick the best among them. "Clean diesels" from the Volkswagen group were often among the finalists and won the award twice. For the 2016 edition - which will be handed out at the LA Auto Show next month - not a single diesel made the list. There's little wonder why. Green Car Journal, which names the winner with a panel of experts, had to strip two VW brand vehicles of their past wins. The 2009 VW Jetta TDI, which won in 2008, and the 2010 Audi A3 TDI, which won in 2010, have both lost their titles now that the world knows about the "defeat devices" that VW installed in many of its TDI vehicles around the world. So, what does that leave us with for 2016? Two plug ins, a hybrid, and two gas vehicles. The two electric vehicle are the Audi A3 e-tron and the Chevy Volt, while the all-new Toyota Prius (which will come with a plug-in version later) is the lone pure hybrid. Rounding out the pack are two efficient gas models: the Hyundai Sonata and the Honda Civic. This is the tenth year for the Green Car Of The Year, and it will be interesting to see if diesels can come back into the award's good graces (for the record, no diesels were among the finalists in 2013, either) in the future. Ford Fusion production scaled back just 3 months after it was accelerated

Three months after kicking off production of the Ford Fusion at its Flat Rock, MI factory, Ford Motor Company is taking steps to trim output in the face of heavily discounted competition from Toyota and a growing supply of vehicles.
The addition of Fusion production in Flat Rock - which also builds the Mustang - was meant to be what pushed the handsome mid-sizer past its arch-nemesis, the Toyota Camry. An extra facility building Fusions was also meant to curb the growing demand for Ford's highly profitable sedan.
But with word that Flat Rock would take "approximately" one extra week off for the holidays combined with an 88-day supply of Fusions - reportedly due in no small part to what Morgan Stanley analyst Adam Jonas called "aggressive discounting of the Camry" - some analysts are now beginning to wonder if Ford may have overextended itself by adding a second Fusion facility to the mix.

The Toyota Tundra is the automotive version of off-brand Cheerios: it doesn't dominate the market, and it's not the first model people think of when they hear the term "pickup truck."
Ford, General Motors and Ram dominate the segment with vehicles that offer ridiculous levels of towing and payload capacities and models loaded with luxury items and primed with tech-rich engines. The off-brands, meanwhile, are led by the Tundra, which while still accounting for six-figure sales (112,732 units in 2013, up from 101,621 in 2012), sits well behind the F-150s and Silverados of the world. After our first drive of the revamped 2014 Tundra, we came away thinking this truck is a total underachiever, aimed at placating Toyota loyalists and doing little to win over new customers.
But everybody deserves a second chance, and we thought a week's drive in a different environment might lead to a different - or at least a more fully realized - opinion. While the Tundra might not be an industry leader, it still makes it on many truck buyers' shopping lists. So, should you consider this off-brand pickup truck?
