1991 FJ80 Land Cruiser
Reliable Car With Nice Options

Hello, and welcome to my auction. I have a beautiful 1991 Land Cruiser for sale.
The car runs great and has been very reliable.
I have records for all work done on the vehicle including the Rhino lining on the lower half of the body.
The vehicle had an overhaul in 2013 which included a tune-up, new belts, AC repair, speakers, rotors, plugs, plug wires etc..
This vehicle has been owned by only one family. It was passed down to the son who has owned it since 2007.
It has been well maintained and looks awesome. The 4x4 works great as well as almost everything else.

The only things that are wrong with this vehicle are that the rear view mirrors need some work.
The passenger side mirror has fallen out but I do still have the mirror. It could be fixed or replaced.
The rear hatch stays no longer hold the rear hatch open. This is also an easy fix.
The key has been broken off inside of the ignition. It works just fine but you start the car with half of a key. I do have an extra key for the vehicle.

This 1991 Land Cruiser is decked out with power windows, locks, doors and a sun roof. It has tinted rear windows and a really sharp two-tone paint job.
The vehicle has virtually no rust and drives like a champ. It has spent most of its life being towed behind an RV so don't let the high miles fool you.
It feels like you are riding in a Cadillac and it is tough as nails.
I have more details listed in my video on Youtube.

Please take a look below and have a great day.

LA Design Challenge invokes biology for 2025 concepts [w/poll]

Wed, 13 Nov 2013

Participants in the annual LA Design Challenge always manage to come up with edgy, wacky designs for future vehicles, but with a theme of "Biomimicry and Mobility: 2025" this year's crop of cars might be the quirkiest we've ever seen. As usual, automotive designers from around the world participated in this year's competition, and all the designs will all be unveiled next week during the LA Auto Show with a winner being announced on November 21.
Chinese automakers made a strong showing with Qoros, SAIC Motor, JAC Motors (the company responsible for the Ford F-150 clone) and Changfeng all bringing interesting takes on the biology, human intelligence and sustainability theme. One of the more innovative ideas among these automakers is the Qoros Silk Road System allows autonomous vehicles to drive in packs similar to how ants travel. Speaking of ants, the SAIC Motor Mobiliant (shown above) gets its design from the shape of an ant's body, and, like the insect, it can climb building acting as a personal elevator as well. The JAC Motors design also merges vehicle and building design, while the Changfeng LaBrea inspired by the design of muscle fibers.
Other entrants include Subaru and US-based design teams for BMW, Toyota and Mazda. BMW's duo of concepts mimic plant and animal life. The LA Subways concept acts as a submersible, single-person vehicle to take advantage of the LA river, with a shape similar to an Ocean Sunfish. The Sustainable Efficient Exploratory Device (SEED) imitates the shape of a seed pod, and uses propulsion methods inspired by a shark, dragonfly and a water bug. Mazda's Auto Adapt might be the most car-like concept of the bunch, while the Subaru Suba-Roo and the Calty-designed, Toyota e-grus are the most mind-blowingly awesome.

Toyota to drop regular-cab Tacoma as small pickups take another hit

Fri, 02 Aug 2013

Even as General Motors prepares to redesign its midsize pickups, the market for sub-fullsize trucks continues to shrink. The remaining competitors in the segment are the well-aged Nissan Frontier, Honda Ridgeline and Toyota Tacoma, and now Truck Trend is reporting that the latter will be dropping its regular cab model due to poor sales.
According to the article, the available configurations for the Tacoma lineup will be whittled down in 2015, which apparently spells the end for the two-door Taco. The Tacoma is currently the last truck in its class to be offered in a regular cab configuration, with the Frontier no longer offering a standard cab model and spy shots of the next-gen Chevrolet Colorado not revealing any glimpse of a short cab, either.

Toyota Prius owners targeted by tire-slashing VA vandal

Wed, 24 Jul 2013

Toyota Prius owners aren't bad folks. With a few exceptions, they're just normal people that appreciate the comfortable, high-mileage hybrid. Someone in Arlington, Virginia doesn't see it that way, though, as 14 examples (and one Smart) had at least one tire slashed last Sunday night.
The serial tire-slasher didn't any items from the vehicles, but he or she has left owners with substantial bills and sour dispositions. According to a report from ABC affiliate WJLA, some citizens are considering the matter a hate crime.
Despite the targeting of Toyota hybrids and the acquisition of one fingerprint, police have been unable to make any arrests, as the slasher has targeted vehicles across the county. Take a look at the local news report from WJLA below.
