1971 toyota fj40 .custom built from the frame up. the tub was sand blasted and interior and under exterior was primed and coated with premium material the tub and all body panels are in perfect shape with no rust , Paint is nice with a few small blemishes .the following items are brand new ,new windshield and rubber,turn signals ,LED brake lights,LED marker lights,windsheild wipers and motors,gas cap,Custom encloser with 12V shut off for new battery, Custom complete new wiring harness, clutch and brake master cylinders,mirrors,shifters, Custom Race seats seats ,seat belts,crossmember,emergency brake,fender flares, Custom tube front fenders that are skined with sheet metal and professionally fabricated and mounted with custom diamond plate inner fenders with vents ,after market B.T.B heater that works like no other,hood latches,4 core downey radiator, Custom auto meter gauges,edlebrock intake and Holley carb and air cleaner,all new igition parts (plugs cap rotor and MSD spark plug wires),custom built aluminum valve covers,about 90% of the nuts and bolts are brand new too. It has on board air supply with belt driven compressor, tank, switch and auto pressure shut off and turn on for constant air supply to Air lockers and ability to air down tires and pump them back up.power plant is a nice running 350CI with less than 5000 miles and Exhaust runs through a nice set of Sanderson Headers (Cast Iron) runs great with tons of power not overly dressed with to much chrome it has the right amount .the transmission is a gm sm420 4 speed and the transfer case is all Aluminum both protected by a state of the art tough as nails skid plate perfectly fitted to chassis , there is a Nice 8000 lb Warn heavy duty winch mounted into a very tough custom front tube bumper that ties frame rails like a cross member that works great. the roll cage is full custom that fits well under top and looks incredible with top off,rocker bars (1/4 thick),seat frames,spare tire rack and fuel can holder boasts a nice storage are for a ice chest or supplies , custom license Plate holder with LED lights for illumination .every braket that is black has been powder coated or painted .there has been a custom spring over conversion with high steer , gm power steering with Tilt column and Power disc brakes in the front and rear .vehicle has rancho 9000 adjustable shocks.warn hubs,gas tank has been cleaned and painted. only 1500 miles on a set of 5 37 12.50 15 inch mud terrain tires . Professionally installed and mounted with correct pinion angles 4;11 gears in the diffs which are Dana 60 Rear w/Air locker ,35 Spline Axles and Front is a Dana 44 w/Air locker diff. All steering has large Hiem Joints for extreme off road use , comes with a New Besttop softop full enclose three sets of doors , full canvas , 1/2 door canvas , 1/2 Hard doors.this vehicle runs and drives 100 times better than new and is one awesome rig. I am sure I have missed some of the other items because there is so much to list ! "Oh yeah, Toyota still makes the Tacoma." Admit it, that's what you just said to yourself. It's a perfectly natural reaction, but the Tacoma has been quietly anchoring its segment for years, outselling every other compact pickup without making too much of a fuss. Toyota hasn't neglected the Tacoma - it was updated in 2012 with a revised nose and interior as the most noteable changes.
In a world awash with high-value fullsize pickups all vying for your attention, the Tacoma still charms more than a few buyers out of their cash. I hooked a Tacoma for a week to see whether it still has enough to recommend it.

Toyota tops Consumer Reports best, worst used car values

We often mock Toyota for building boring, soulless cars, but a new study by Consumer Reports suggests that regardless of whether that's true, the company has some of the best used cars on the market. In its report on used cars from 2004-2013, the Japanese automaker had 11 vehicles among its brands on the list - more than any other automaker.
CR breaks the list down by cost and vehicle size, and Toyota has at least one entry at every price point and in nearly every segment. To score a recommendation, a vehicle had to perform well in the magazine's initial tests and score above-average reliability results. It also tried to only suggest cars with electronic stability control. Of the 28 recommended vehicles, Honda/Acura had the second most mentions at six, and Ford, Hyundai and Subaru managed two each.
The Detroit brands also made it to the list, but not in a positive way. Consumer Reports compiled a list of 22 vehicles it wouldn't recommend because "they have multiple years of much-worse-than-average overall reliability." General Motors had the most unrecommended models on the list at six, but Chrysler and Ford weren't far behind, with five cars each from their brands not making the grade. Minivan market not what it used to be, but margins make up for it

Residual values for last year's minivans are higher than they were in 2000.
Much like the station wagon was the shuttle of Baby Boomer generation, the minivan has been the primary means of transport for Generations X and Y. Just as the boomers abandoned the Country Squire, though, those kids that were toted around in Grand Caravans and Windstars are adults, and they certainly don't want to be seen in the cars their parents drove.
