This is a very nicely equipped 2007 Toyota Highlander Hybrid Limited with 126,000 highway miles. This Hybrid is equipped with factory navigation, four-wheel-drive, heated-leather seats, power sunroof, and other convenience features. The air conditioning is cold and the heater works well. All of the power equipment in this vehicle has been checked and tested and everything is working properly. This Highlander runs and drives beautifully. There aren’t any service indicators or warning lights on. The Hybrid system operates flawlessly and efficiently. The engine runs very strong and smoothly. The transmission shifts perfectly and the four-wheel-drive system operates properly. The suspension and steering are nice and tight. The matching set of Firestone tires have about 75% life left, and the brake pads are all in excellent condition as well. The vehicle just received a full Toyota service. The Sonora Gold Pearl finish is very glossy and clean, and this Highlander has a beautiful looking exterior. The only flaws are a few nicks or imperfections, but there aren’t any dents or scratches. There isn’t any body rust at all, and the undercarriage is very clean, dry and in excellent condition without any leaks. The alloy wheels are very clean and undamaged. The interior has been very well maintained and is clean and in excellent condition. All of the leather surfaces are soft and supple, and the seats are in great condition. The carpeting is very clean and fluffy throughout with only minor wear on the driver side. All interior trim is also in excellent condition. There aren’t any stains or holes on any seats, carpeting or interior trim. There is one very small tear on the outside of the passenger side seat, which is virtually unnoticeable. The previous owner was a non-smoker, and there aren’t any odors or burn marks inside the vehicle. The title is clean and clear without any liens or encumbrances. My Highlander looks excellent, and it runs perfectly, and it has given me great service since I owned it. |

Toyota will invest $210 million to expand West Virginia engine production
Sun, Feb 21 2021WASHINGTON — Toyota is investing $210 million to expand engine production in West Virginia and add 100 new jobs. The Japanese automaker said it would boost capacity by 70,000 engines a year at the Buffalo, West Virginia plant, up from the nearly 1 million transmissions and engines it produces annually for vehicles assembled in North America. The investment will increase assembly capacity of its four-cylinder engine line. The plant makes four- and six-cylinder engines for Avalon, Camry, Corolla, Highlander, Lexus ES, Lexus RX350, RAV4 and Sienna. The investment comes as automakers around the world are shifting more focus to electric vehicles and away from vehicles powered by internal combustion engines. Toyota says hybrid vehicles, which includes internal combustion engines, will be a key part of its vehicle strategy in the coming decade as other automakers focus more heavily on battery electric vehicles, which only run on electric power. Toyota said last week that 16% of its U.S. sales were hybrid vehicles in 2020, a figure that will jump to at least 20% in 2021. Related Video:

The BMW i8 Futurism Edition, made in partnership with Garage Italia Customs, replicates artist Giacomo Balla's "Lampada ad Arco" on the car. The special edition i8 will take part in the 2016 Mille Miglia, following a BMW 328 driven by BMW Italia President and CEO Sergio Solero. The Toyota Mobility Foundation has joined the New Cities Foundation (NCF) as a Global Strategic Member. The organizations will work together on research and initiatives to improve lives through better mobility. The Proterra EV Simulator allows for a comparison of its electric buses alongside diesel, CNG, and hybrid buses on specific routes within a transit system. It uses Google Maps plus data and algorithms from two million miles of real-world driving to compare costs, performance, and environmental benefits, taking into account variables like routes, local temperatures, and passenger loads. Tesla has chosen Hankook as the tire supplier for its upcoming Model 3 EV. According to Korean network Arirang News, Tesla chose Hankook after sampling various offerings from companies around the globe.
