Proud to be one of the most reliable vehicles on the road "Toyota"
The Title is CLEAN, notarized and ready for new owner. Four cylinder , economical , 115k !!! original miles, ICE cold AC , maintained systematically per manufacturers recommendations. No Accidents , No problematic conditions of any kind.... This car runs like new, and is RELIABLE, the engine is still a baby, and was never abused. The Corolla just received 1000.00 dollars put into a full Maintenance, we replaced belts, we had the Transmission cleaned and fully serviced, we had Brand new Brakes put on 11/01/2013, we had the timing and rail fully serviced, we had the motor cleaned and fully serviced, we had everything that mechanically looked as tho it needed to be freshened up professionally serviced. The vehicle had been sitting for long periods of time between owners and needed to be revived for regular driving again, so that's exactly what we did. This car mechanically is in cherry condition. When you start it up and drive around you can tell it still has that young car pep and sound. The car however does need to be either touched up to get rid of some flaked off paint on front bumper and rear passenger side door and rear bumper to have a flawless look again. The front driver side head lamp needs replacement which we may take care of only a 25.00 fix. The interior needs for a professional shampooing/ detail to bring back that new car feel. There's no holes or rips just a cleaning. So that's about the whole package, it needs an owner to put a little elbow grease and love into its cosmetics and mechanically this car will take care of you for a long, long time. Come see and drive it home. |

Why Lexus shies away from plug-in hybrids
Mon, Apr 20 2015Lexus may have softened its stance a bit from the anti plug-in vehicle ads the Toyota luxury badge ran last year, but at least one executive from the company casts a pretty critical eye towards the concept as a way to cut both emissions and refueling costs. In fact, Lexus doesn't really buy the fact that buyers of plug-in hybrids are really looking to save both gas and the environment, Green Car Reports says, citing an interview at the recent New York Auto Show with Lexus executive Mark Templin. Templin also said hydrogen fuel-cell technology may be a better way to edge towards zero emissions. Templin decried plug-in hybrid technology because it adds weight to vehicles, which contributes to poor emissions figures in the process. He added that plug-in vehicle buyers are motivated more by potential tax credits and solo driving rights in high-occupancy vehicle (HOV) lanes than cutting back on fuel use. Last summer, Lexus ran an supposedly tongue-in-cheek print ad poking fun at how long it takes to charge a plug-in vehicle and how using air conditioning can shorten a car's charging range. Last spring, Lexus had to backpedal from an anti-electric ad it ran that had serious mistakes about hydrogen infrastructure. News Source: Green Car Reports Green Lexus Toyota Hybrid PHEV

Which of these five plug-ins should win the 2017 Green Car of the Year?
Tue, Nov 8 2016It's going to be a competitive race for the 2017 Green Car Of The Year. With a minivan in the running for the first time in ages, the five finalists announced by Green Car Journal today include five very different plug-in vehicles. As Ron Cogan, the editor and publisher of Green Car Journal, said in a statement, "electrification is now considered by most automakers an essential technology for current and future high-efficiency models." Let's check out the list: Toyota Prius Prime, the updated plug-in version of the world's best-selling hybrid. Chevy Bolt, GM's all-new entry into the long-range EV game. Chrysler Pacifica, a family hauler with the ability to go 30 miles on electric power. Kia Optima. The nomination is for the full line-up, but really the hybrid and plug-in hybrid models are the green stars here. BMW 330e iPerformance, one of the automaker's many new plug-in hybrids that bring battery power to models outside the i sub-brand. Green Car Journal will announce the winners at the Los Angeles Auto Show on November 17th, along with some, "other green transportation announcements," whatever that means. Last year, the winner was the 2016 Chevy Volt, the first model to snatch up two wins. Which do you think should win this year?
