Welcome to a superb opportunity. You are viewing an absolutely beautiful, outstanding condition, incredibly low mileage and exclusively Florida-kept and driven 2008 Toyota Avalon XLS Luxury Touring Sedan. This incredibly desirable sedan is extra-clean and has had only one mature owner since it was purchased from Lipton Toyota of Hollywood, Florida with 15,000 miles on it on March 19th of 2010. Of course, with incredibly low mileage at that point, it was a front-line vehicle at the dealership and was judged a Certified Pre-Owned unit. (CPO as they call it in the business) Extended Warranty, complete inspection to new car standards, and Toyota's stamp of approval as one of the best Pre-owned vehicles available. You know what they say, the best new cars make the best used cars, and this is a perfect example. This fully loaded XLS Avalon is priced thousands below retail, and much less than what your friendly neighborhood Toyota dealership would be asking.

Without a doubt one of the best color combinations for this sedan. Hard-to-find, High-Gloss Silver Pine Mica exterior over Light Beige supple leather, with elaborate interior wood trim. This luxury sedan scream style and is truly an elegant color combination! Super-executive appearance, and exciting performance to match. Great inspired and dependable performance comes from the naturally-aspirated 3.5 liter electronically fuel-injected V-6 powerplant and silky-smooth automatic transmission. Together, this is one of the most enjoyable driving experiences you will have, while getting upwards of 33 miles per gallon on the highway. This luxury touring sedan is an absolute pleasure to drive. Completely loaded with full power options, 17-inch premium aluminum alloy wheels, factory power sunroof, dual power front seats, heated seating, superb high-power audio system, keyless remote entry, factory security system and so much more. The rich and inviting leather interior is in outstanding condition and this is without a doubt my favorite color combination for this executive sedan. It screams luxury!

This is the top-of-the-line XLS model (along with the Limited) and it is loaded with full power options and again, it runs and drives superbly. Just like brand new. No excuses--no disappointments. It has had an exemplary service history. From its post sale new car inspection, to its CPO documentation at 15,000 miles, to the 20,000 mile service and finally its 42,000 mile dealer service. It has always been service by the pro's at the Toyota dealership. And Synthetic oil has always been used in this flagship Toyota--since Day 1.

I have all the books and manuals that came with this Avalon XLS when new, as well as  complete service and maintenance records and even the original embroidered carpeted floor mats. How's that for complete! Everything works perfectly and properly, and all this beauty needs is a new home. Have you ever heard your friend or neighbor say they got an incredible deal on an awesome new car? Well, this is it.  Runs and drives like a dream, and as close to new as you could ever wish for.

We have this attractive, low mileage Avalon XLS priced incredibly for a fast sale. It has been a Florida vehicle since new, and it certainly shows. Being a local Florida vehicle its entire life make a BIG difference. Clean, corrosion-free undercarriage, smooth, flat roads with no hills and potholes in this Sunny and Warm climate--your suspension will thank you for that, as will the transmission. All these things add up to a better vehicle. This is a sedan you will be proud to own. It even has a complete set of nearly new premium Michelin all-season radials all the way around. You'll experience perfect traction in any driving condition. Wet or Dry!

The exterior has a brilliant and radiant finish with absolutely no dents or unsightly parking lot door dings, scuffs, scratches or curb rash. It is extra-clean. As nice as you will find anywhere. And the interior is like new as well. From the leather seats, to the carpets, to the rear truck area. As far as the engine compartment--you can eat off it. You should be getting the picture by now. Do not make the mistake of missing out on this car!

This car has never been smoked in. Neither the ashtray nor the cigarette lighter have ever been used. Imagine how much you will enjoy this luxury touring sedan, while still driving one of the safest vehicles on the road. If you hit the Buy-It-Now, we will assist with transport within the Continental US, and of course, free airport pick-up is available if you fly into Jacksonville International Airport. We list our vehicles to sell, and many sell with just a simple phone call to our sales associate. Don't miss out on this one. Priced the lowest in the country and thousands below retail. Only 48,000 original miles! The mileage is incredibly low for the model year at only 8,000 miles per year. And remember, these were all sunny South Florida miles, and a bonus with the reasons mentioned above. Good Luck to everyone bidding. I encourage anyone seriously interested in this vehicle to call or e-mail. It may not last long at this price. We charge a nominal $299 dealer fee. Buy and Bid with confidence on this completely serviced vehicle. Please feel free to call or e-mail us and enjoy a wonderful buying experience. 561.283.9511 Please ask for Steven.  `
Please feel free to call 561.283.9511 for more details or a walk around the vehicle. Thanks for looking. Bid with confidence and Bid to win!

2019 Subaru Forester vs compact SUV rivals: How they compare on paper

Mon, Aug 20 2018

We've seen what the 2019 Subaru Forester looks like (pretty much the same). We've found out how much it's going to cost (just a bit more). And also how much bigger and more powerful it'll be (appreciably on both counts). Now it's time to see how all of that compares to its top compact SUV rivals. While you can see the same engine and dimension specs for every compact SUV here, for this comparison featuring the latest 2019 Forester info, we've decided to define "top rivals" as those that the 2018 model was most frequently cross-shopped with. That means the 2018 Honda CR-V, 2018 Toyota RAV4, 2018 Mazda CX-5 and 2018 Nissan Rogue. At the time of this writing, none of their respective manufacturers had released data for 2019 models. We also included info for the 2018 Forester as well. So, without further blather, cue the Spreadsheet-o-Matic 3000. How big are they? The 2019 Forester may look nearly identical to the compact crossover it replaces, but it's nevertheless bigger and heavier. In particular, its wheelbase has increased from being the smallest in the segment to one that's pretty much average. It's a good bet that this gain is the reason rear seat legroom has also increased. Width is also up, but the Forester actually remains the narrowest compact SUV. As for other noteworthy dimensions, the new Forester now has the most maximum cargo capacity of any compact SUV with 76.1 cubic feet. Now, it should be noted, that's without the panoramic sunroof that comes on all but the base model. With it, max capacity shrinks to 70.9 cu-ft. Two points about that. First, Subaru is the only company that calls out this difference, and all the others almost certainly are not measuring with a sunroof. Second, this gives you an idea about how much of "maximum cargo capacity" includes space up high where you're probably not storing much cargo. As such, we included the Forester's biggest number and think it fairly indicates Subaru should carry the "biggest in segment" crown. How do their engines and fuel economy compare? Here's the most important takeaway here: The new Forester is tied for the best fuel economy in the segment, but that's with standard all-wheel drive. Everything else listed above is with front-wheel drive. The 2019 model also gets a welcome injection of power, resulting in the fourth-most base horsepower in the segment (or fifth, if you consider the CR-V technically holds spots 1 and 3).

Toyota Hilux successor spotted

Mon, 15 Sep 2014

The midsize truck segment is suddenly seemingly exploding with new vehicles worldwide, even here in North America. Not only will the Chevrolet Colorado and GMC Canyon be available very soon, Toyota is already testing a replacement for its aging Tacoma and Honda has promised a Ridgeline replacement within the next 18 months. Also, the recently shown Nissan Navara is said to portend the future of our Frontier. Here's some more fresh evidence from Europe of this pickup boom with the next generation of its venerable Hilux in testing.
Thanks to Top Gear and sometimes the evening news, the Hilux has built a reputation of being able to go just about anywhere. According to out spy shooter, this particular pickup was spotted during hot weather testing in southern Europe. Interestingly, a Volkswagen Amarok was along for the ride as a benchmark. Because the VW tends to offer a bit more comfort than the generally utilitarian Hilux, this could indicate Toyota is considering taking the new truck in a slightly comfier, more refined direction.
Compared to the current model, this camouflaged tester sports a narrower front grille and headlights. The hood scoop is also absent here. The lower air dam also receives a more horizontal look, but the more vertical fog light housings provide some contrast. The crazy camouflage pattern makes things hard to discern at the rear, but the taillights appear to be more slender than they on the current model. Unfortunately, mechanical details about the new truck remain a mystery at the moment, but enjoy these spy shots as a preview of one more upcoming pickup.

5 highlights from the 2018 Petersen Automotive Museum Auction

Fri, Nov 30 2018

From the avant garde exterior design to the collection of vehicles between the walls, the Petersen Automotive Museum in Los Angeles is one of the coolest car museums in the U.S., and possibly the world. Among several others, the Petersen has two featured exhibits, The Porsche Effect and Legends of L.A. But the museum has a different type of viewing coming up at which you could touch, or even buy, a variety of special vehicles. After hosting its SoCal auction on the coast in Santa Monica for several years, RM Sotheby's has moved the event to the more central location of the museum. In addition to several works of art, the auction which takes place the weekend of December 7, will show several dozens of blue-chip vehicles, chosen by RM Sotheby's 30 car specialists. After sorting through lots that range from microcars to new-age supercars, here are five of the highlights that caught our eyes. 1956 Ferrari 290 MM by Scaglietti Projected Value: $22,000,000-$26,000,000 Without question, this is the crown jewel of the entire show. As the eldest and most experienced of the 11 total Ferrari lots, its estimated value of $26 million is more than five times the values of the other five cars listed below combined. From the jump, Ferrari threw the 290 into the line of fire. Starting its life with a four-cylinder 860 Monza engine and a Tipo 520 chassis, its first race was the Mille Miglia. Peter Collins was behind the wheel and racing photographer Louis Klemantaski was his copilot. Ferrari took the top five spots in the race, with this car, chassis No. 0628, finishing second. It went on to see multiple races and took on multiple forms, including a V12 swap at one point. After switching through the hands of multiple owners, it was sent to Ferrari Classiche in Maranello, where it was restored to its form at the time of the 1957 12 Hours of Sebring. It retains its original chassis, original bodywork, and original transmission, and houses the V12 from its 290 MM spec. The restoration was completed in 2015, and the car remains in incredible shape today. 1971 Lamborghini Miura P400 SV by Bertone Projected Value: $2,100,000-$2,500,000 Simply put, the Miura is one of the most significant supercars, and therefore one of the most important cars, of all time. Its two-seat, mid-engined configuration seismically shifted what a performance could and should look like, and its V12 gave it the power to be the fastest car in the world when it debuted.
