This is a great low mileage SUV.  I am only selling because I bought a new car.  The vehicle is loaded with options and everything works.  There is nothing mechanical wrong with this vehicle.

There are 2 small cosmetic issues as shown in the pictures.  First, there is a small dent in the left-rear fender over the wheel.  You can see it in the picture.  Second, the seats have a few stains in them of the fast-food type.  These stains would probably come out if you had it cleaned but I have not tried.  Most are light stains and all are just food stains.

I had the windshield replaced two weeks ago and the battery last year.  The tires are in great shape with at least 50% tread left, probably more.  This is a great SUV and I hate to sell it but I really don't need two SUV's.  You can get in this car and go anywhere.  At just over 70,000 miles, this car is just getting broken in.

If you need a good 4x4 that will haul 7 people this is it.  There is nothing to do to this car, just put it to work hauling your family around.  I bought this car 2 years ago and it has been great.

Included are 2 keys with the fobs for remote Lock/Unlock/Alarm.  I can arrange to meet your shipper if you plan to have it delivered to you.

I require $500 deposit through PayPal within 24 hours of auction close.  The balance must be paid within 3 business days by cash, credit card or certified bank check.  No personal checks.

If you have any questions or want to see additional pictures just leave a message.  Thanks!

Toyota, Honda, Nissan and more collaborating to increase fuel efficiency

Sun, 25 May 2014

Toyota, Honda, Mazda, Nissan, Subaru, Mitsubishi, Suzuki and Daihatsu have announced an alliance that will see a push to improve fuel economy from both gas-powered and diesel-powered engines by as much as 30 percent before the end of the decade.
The newly assembled Research Association of Automotive Internal Combustion Engines put the roughly $20-million project together, with the Japanese government committing to half the cost while the eight manufacturers will chip in the rest.
According to Automotive News, the automakers will team up and share basic research on internal-combustion engines in a bid to cut costs. Eventually, the results of the research will find its way into a production vehicle, although it's unclear just when we'll see the fruits of this partnership on the road.

Suzuki latest to admit to falsifying fuel economy tests

Wed, May 18 2016

Suzuki is the latest automaker to be snagged in the broadening scandal of fuel economy falsification. Reuters reports that the head of the Japanese industrial giant admitted that it did not use the proper standards when testing its cars for fuel consumption. "The company apologizes for the fact that we did not follow rules set by the country," said CEO Osamu Suzuki (pictured bowing to reporters), as reported by Reuters. Over 2 million Suzuki vehicles are estimated to be affected. However Suzuki maintains that the company did not intentionally lie or mislead the public or government regulators about its vehicles' economy figures. Japan's transport ministry has ordered domestic automakers to resubmit those figures this week. Though Suzuki withdrew from the North American automobile market nearly four years ago, it remains the fourth largest in Japan (following Toyota, Nissan, and Honda) with particular sales strength in the Kei car segment. Like Honda and Yamaha, the company makes a variety of motorized products, including motorcycles, ATVs, and marine engines. The revelation follows hot on the heels of Mitsubishi's falsification, which broadened in scope from a few Kei cars to every vehicle it has sold in Japan stretching as far back as 1991. The controversy lead to Nissan taking control of a third of Mitsubishi's stock. Prior to that, and on the other side of the world, Volkswagen admitted to engineering its diesel vehicles to cheat emissions tests. Government regulators around the world have launched investigations into numerous other automakers to see how much farther the growing epidemic of falsifying environmental credentials can spread. It's a hard knock life for a N"urburgring rental car

Wed, 12 Dec 2012

Rental cars get no respect. They're abused, misused and flogged mercilessly as athletes in Rental Car Olympics. And that's just at your everyday airport rental counter. The torture gets extreme for rental cars thrashed around Germany's infamous Nürburgring.
Rent4Ring expects its customers to drive its cars around the 'Ring with enthusiasm and, in some cases, less skill than the pros. Rent4Ring just recently retired its Suzuki Swift Sport from its fleet and shared the car's two-year-plus lifetime highlights.
The little hatchback made more than 2,800 laps of the 'Ring over three seasons amounting to more than 310,000 miles driven by 457 different drivers. "Some were fast, some were slow. Some were nice to the car, a few were frankly awful," says a Rent4Ring rep.
