1987 Suzuki Samurai. Runs and drives excellent. Has 50,187 and previous owner told me it was towed behind a motorhome. The motor is very clean under the hood and is completly stock with no aftermarket parts on it except for the clicky starter fix and a toggle switch inside that will shut off the ignition while your towing so you can leave the key in the on position unlocking the steering wheel during towing. Just installed a brand new pressure plate, clutch disc, and throw out bearing. This Sammy will pass smog with no problems. New stock exhaust system as well as HID headlights. Comes with a tow bar. Also has and alarm on Sammy
The Exterior is in great shape. It does have a little bit of oxidation on the hood the could polish out. It has 31in tires with shackles on front. Suspension is stock other than the shackles. Has all mirrors and glass is in great shape. Has little rock chip on front window that is hardley noticable. Windows roll up and down with no problems. Brand new soft top.
The Interior is in great shape. Has full carpet kit, floor mats, seat belts. The seats are in great shape with exception of the drivers having a few rips in it. Drivers and back driverside door panels have some tears in them. All others are good.
This is a California car and has no rust or rot on it. It is in Great condition for its age and is all virtually stock. The only thing this Sammy is missing is the spare tire holder and spare tire which i see on ebay for 20 bucks all day for the holder.
Shipping will be at buyers expence!!!!!
My zip code is 90808 for your shipping quotes.
Will Deliver to Port of Long Beach
I have described the sammy as best as i can so please ask any questions or concerns before bidding.
Any bank checks will be deposited and cleared first before sammy leaves the property!!!!!!!!
The heater works perfect but there is NO A/C in this sammy
Has Clean California Title
Just passed smog on Fri. April 19, 2013
Just had it detailed look at pics
On Apr-14-13 at 19:55:28 PDT, seller added the following information:
Do to a few questions on the odometer on the Sammy says 50187. Im sure it has rolled and the millage is 150,187. The autocheck shows the last reading being at 133,000

2014 Suzuki V-Strom 1000 ABS
Tue, 11 Nov 2014Motorcycle trends come and go like fashion, and the latest two-wheeled style du jour is the adventure bike. Chunky and rugged, these (sometimes) dirt-ready rides often take cues from the massive, Armageddon-ready rigs you'd find on the Dakar Rally. In their most neutered form, they can start as street bikes and adapt for adventure duty by adding taller suspension setups, removable saddlebags, bigger fuel tanks, and better wind protection.
Lying smack in the middle of that dirt/road matrix (and leaning toward the tarmac side) is the 2014 Suzuki V-Strom 1000 ABS. A venerable fixture in the adventure scene, it developed a primarily urban following after the model bowed in 2004, though it's also proved itself worthy of tackling trails and light offroad scenarios. For automotive folks not steeped in the vagaries of the motorcycle world, the V-Strom is the two-wheeled equivalent of the late, great Mitsubishi Montero: capable, no-nonsense, and a bit of an unsung hero in the face of more glamorous offroaders like the Land Rover LR4 and the Mercedes-Benz Geländewagen.
Suzuki details 2019 Jimny engine and safety specs
Thu, Jul 5 2018Last month, we were able to publish official images of the upcoming new generation Suzuki Jimny SUV. Now, Suzuki has released a detailed mega-gallery of the boxy 2019 Jimny and some essential information on its powertrain and safety tech. The big news is that the Jimny's introductory engine choice will be bigger than anticipated, as it will be the 1.5-liter, 100-horsepower four-cylinder gasoline engine producing 96 pound-feet of torque. For the time being, no other powertrain options are available, and there's no word yet of a hybrid variant. The offered transmissions are a five-speed manual and a four-speed automatic, and 4WD mode is switchable from a separate gear lever with high and low range. Curb weight is mentioned to be as low as 2400 pounds. As for the Jimny's safety, there's now automatic emergency braking, lane departure warning combined with "Weaving Alert," and also traffic sign detection — certainly high tech for a very small SUV. But it's outside the reach of any road signage where the Jimny is designed to shine, as the image gallery shows with photos of the vehicle off-road. The Jimny's approach angle is 37 degrees, the ramp breakover angle is 28 degrees and the departure angle a nice 49 degrees. The minimum ground clearance is mentioned to be roughly 8.3 inches. Suzuki ending auto sales in Canada, too
Wed, 27 Mar 2013Suzuki of Japan has reportedly made the decision that almost everyone assumed it would make when it announced it was leaving the US market: when the 2014 model year concludes, it will no longer sell cars in Canada. With six employees overseeing its auto business in Canada and a dealer network that has shrunk to 55 outlets in the country, we can't say we're shocked.
At the time of the US announcement, however, the senior VP of sales and marketing in the automotive division of Suzuki Canada said it would be able to survive on its own because, among other reasons, Canadians prefer smaller, more fuel-efficient cars that fit the company's offerings. Five months later, after some time to think about a 30-percent drop in sales to open up 2013 instead of the 1.4-percent increase in sales that Suzuki Canada posted last year, things have evidently changed.
The Globe and Mail reports that as is in the US, Suzuki's motorcycle, ATV and marine divisions in Canada will remain.
