Hello Everyone! You are bidding on my 2011 Suzuki Kizashi!! I am selling this car in order to attend college. I am the only owner of the car and it has been very well maintained.  The car has been garage kept since I have had it and is in mint condition except for a few minor scratches on the lower ground effect on the passenger side. I have been using Mobil1 full synthetic oil since I bought the car 3 years ago and have had the oil changed regularly every 3,000 miles. The car runs great and is very appealing both on the outside as well on the inside. the car comes with a 5" touch screen radio as well as a full navigation system, and 17" Alloy wheels. The car is fully Ipod compatible as well as it is equipped with Bluetooth hookup. The car also includes a ski bag throught the trunk into the car, back up camera and sensor, leather heated seats, and a Rockford Fosgate sound system. It can be driven either automatic or with the slap shift paddles. The all wheel drive feature is great for winter driving, and you are able to switch to FWD with the push of a button when not using AWD.I just put four all new all seasonal tires on the car. I am averaging around 27 miles per gallon. This car is very sporty, safe, economical, and fun to drive! Please feel free to email me with any further questions that you may have.

Suzuki recalling 200K crossovers over airbag woes

Mon, 16 Sep 2013

Suzuki may not be selling any new cars in the US anymore, but there are still plenty of them on American roads. Nearly 200,000 of those will need to be taken off said roads - for a little while, at least.
The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration has issued a recall for 2006-2011 Suzuki Grand Vitara SUVs and 2007-2011 SX4 crossovers due to a faulty airbag sensor. The issue apparently results from the front passenger-side floor mat causing the Occupant Classification System (OCS) sensor to malfunction over time, so whether there's a kid or an adult in the front seat, the airbag could deploy in the event of a crash.
As a result, Suzuki Motor of America is calling in 193,936 vehicles to replace the front passenger-seat cushion assembly. That's a whole lot of cars to recall, but it comes as no big surprise. Owners can expect to be notified in October. Full details in the recall announcement below.

Suzuki Authentics Concept is genuine but drab

Sat, 20 Apr 2013

Looks can certainly be deceiving. Have a glance at this new Suzuki Authentics concept, for example - we were told that this would, essentially, be a proper sedan version of the new SX4, but our folks on the ground in Shanghai tell us it's actually much larger. Like, bigger than the Kizashi. (Hey, remember the Kizashi?)
Regardless, Suzuki says that the Authentics concept previews a C-segment vehicle for the Chinese market. A good move, too, since that segment has the highest volume in the Chinese market. (That's why automakers like Ford, for example, have more than one offering in the class.) If we're honest, the Authentics concept looks a bit "meh" for our tastes - there isn't a whole lot of emotion going on here with the design. Consider it a competitor for that spiffy new Ford Escort that also took the stage here in Shanghai.
We don't have any more details about the Authentics concept at the moment, but considering the fact that Suzuki has officially exited the US market, at least we don't have to worry about this thing showing up on our shores anytime soon.

Suzuki Vitara shows its face ahead of Paris debut

Thu, 28 Aug 2014

The death of Suzuki's American automotive operations can be chalked up to many, many things. One thing it cannot be blamed on, however, is the arguable goodness of its products. The company's criminally underrated offerings included the Kizashi sedan, the SX4 compact and your author's personal favorite, the Grand Vitara.
The GV rode on a radically different version of General Motors' Theta platform, which underpins the American manufacturer's current crop of crossovers, like the Chevrolet Equinox. What made the Grand Vitara special, though, was that it wasn't just another run-of-the-mill CUV. Buying the cheapest model meant living with rear-wheel drive rather than the Theta's typical front drive. Spend a bit of money, though, and you'd end up with an honest-to-goodness off-roader, sporting selectable four-wheel drive complete with low-range gearbox. It also comfortably sat five, was reasonably efficient and was quite handsome. We aren't totally sure how it turned into this.
This, of course, being the new Vitara (it replaces the Escudo, the vehicle Americans know as the Grand Vitara), and it will make its global debut at October's Paris Motor Show, which has ditched its four-wheel-drive system for a part-time all-wheel-drive system called Allgrip.
