Reason for selling: I need a truck sadly. I love this car and will not let it go for nothing.
I spoke with my local dmv in regards to the note on the online vin check and the lady told me that it may LOOK suspicious to the dmv because it sat and they can Notate it on the title for incorrect mileage as it sat for a few months on their lot. Being that it sat at a dealership for a few weeks below that looks suspicious I assume being only going up a few miles at a time. (maybe it was getting worked on at the time? or at auction?) In all honesty no one was able to tell me anything about this note on the online section, there is no notes on the physical title. The physical title says "Actual Mileage" so who knows. The note on the car never gave me any issues it does not effect anything with the car. I had no clue it was there until I searched it before listing her for sale. I try to be as up front with people as I can and do not want to disappoint anyone in any way. (not that a virtual text on some website would ever show up anywhere) Mileage 16 03/22/2005 Mileage 39,392 06/12/2007 Mileage 39,392 06/13/2007 Mileage 39,392 06/21/2007 - most likely at the dealer/sales lot these few weeks, and that's why the note is on the title. Mileage 39,401 08/20/2007 Mileage 39,402 09/21/2007 Mileage 64,000 11/29/2010 - 3 years later mileage goes up accurately .. everything adds up fine. Mileage 77,872 05/25/2012 I have put roughly 9, or 10 thousand miles on it sense ownership driving it very little and using my daily driver which I recently sold. Below are a few images, I plan on uploading a youtube soon. I have owned this car for two years and barley put any mileage on it. The car sat mostly in my garage as a weekend driver. If there is something I'm missing in this thread or that you would like to know, PM me. I'm not a car salesman, I do not sell cars on the regular so please excuse me if I left something out an don't lock my thread .. I've donated to this forum several times and been a member for many years. http://forums.nasioc.com/forums/showthread.php?p=41821245#post41821245 listing with more information here |

Factory Five's Subaru WRX-based 818 kit now on sale [w/video]
Fri, 21 Mar 2014The Subaru WRX has always needed a dash more style, and the do-it-yourself carmakers at Factory Five are looking to accomplish a lot more than that with their new mid-engine, rear-wheel drive 818. The sports car started with a contest in 2011 to create the shape for the company's next vehicle, while sticking within certain limits. A designer named Nouphone Bansasi had his entry chosen, and first cars were completed last year.
The 818 is named after its target weight of 818 kilograms (1,803 pounds), and it's offered in two forms. The S starts at $9,990 and is meant for street use, with two seats and a basic interior. The R model for $10,990 is more track-focused and features a tiny windshield and full roll cage. The company claims that complete cars can be built for around $15,000, after factoring in the donor Subaru. Performance is very brisk, with acceleration to 60 miles per hour in under four seconds, according to Motor Authority.
The kits are meant to be something that even a relative novice could put together. All the builder needs to provide is a 2002-2007 Impreza or WRX. The car donates its turbocharged boxer four-cylinder engine, transmission, axles, brakes, steering and other major components. Factory Five supplies the spaceframe, body, suspension, lights, windshield and some interior trim. It doesn't even need paint, thanks to its gel-coated fiberglass body panels. The company also offers a laundry list of options, including carbon fiber aero components, upgraded suspension parts, improved brakes and more. Kits can be ordered in either left- or right-hand drive.
Subaru brings sportier XV, Legacy and Levorg concepts to Tokyo Auto Salon
Mon, Jan 12 2015'Tis the season of the auto shows, boys and girls. We just came down from the techno-fest that was CES, we're set for the start of the Detroit Auto Show, in the UK they're holding the Autosport International racecar show, and in Japan they just opened the Tokyo Auto Salon. And true to form, Subaru was on hand with a wide assortment of tuned machinery. Aside from the competition-spec WRX and BRZ we brought you a few days ago, Subaru also spruced up some of its production models for the street. One of the most intriguing was the Levorg S that gives us an idea of what the conceptual Legacy wagon would look like in STI spec, complete with the requisite blue paint, red trim and STI badges, but also a full aero kit, 19-inch BBS wheels and carbon-fiber trim, plus an interior with bucket seats, flat-bottom rim and all the fixins. The Japanese automaker also showcased a version of the Legacy sedan dubbed Blitzen, decked out in bright red with a similarly upgraded aero kit, 19-inch alloys and a two-tone interior. The XV Crosstrek that was recently launched on this side of the Pacific as a special edition in bright yellow rolled in to the Tokyo salon in the same shade, but with upgrades similar to those on the aforementioned Levorg and Legacy show cars. The XV Sport concept wears upgraded aero, 17-inch wheels and a complementing yellow-trimmed back interior. Also on display was an even less subtle WRX S4 customized by Prova, done up in white but with an outlandish body kit, 20-inch Enkei alloys and a dropped suspension, as well as the new Forester tS.
