1991 Subaru Legacy with Factory right hand drive RHD. My wife has used this for mail delivery for the past 4 years. Vehicle is originally from Florida (very little rust). Needs to have right front CV joint/driveshaft replaced. I have the part. It just needs to be put on (driveable as is though). I also have a RHD parts car with numerous other good parts that is included in this sale. These cars are rare and hard to find anymore. They are a dream come true for the rural letter carrier. I don't know why they stopped making them. This one has been regularly maintained. Just last year the rack and pinion steering was replaced (a $2000 job).
We have WAY more money into this car than we can ever expect to get back out of it. However, we need to make some room in the driveway/yard, so we're letting her go. |

Toyota GT86 GT4 racer is ready for UK competition
Tue, 05 Feb 2013It's about time we saw someone cook up a legitimate race version of the delectable Toyota GT86, and now it looks as if GPRM has done just that. The Buckingham-based race engineering team has built the creation you see here, complete with a turbocharged 2.0-liter, direct-injection four-cylinder boxer cooked up by Nicholson McLaren Engines. The team says the new mill delivers between 360 and 400 horsepower to the rear wheels depending on final testing, which is a sight bit more than the 197 horses the naturally aspirated stock mill offers.
The car will compete in GT4 events, including the Avon Tyres British GT Championship. Technically, the GPRM effort isn't factory backed, but the team says the effort "has the blessing of Toyota Great Britain." How could it not? Subaru ups US sales projections to 500k units
Wed, 10 Sep 2014Subaru is going absolutely gangbusters so far in 2014, with growing year-over-year sales every month this year adding to the streak of 33 consecutive months. The prognosis is so positive that the Japanese brand is revising its 2014 forecast to 500,000 vehicles or more, from a previous estimated 460,000. If it reaches the goal, it would be the first time that the automaker hit the half-million mark here.
Subaru has been growing steadily in the US for a while now. Annual sales have increased for the past five consecutive years with 2014 not indicating for that to change. For August alone, the company moved 50,246 vehicles, up 22.37 percent year-over-year, and the business proclaimed it as the best month in its history.
According to Subaru, it believes that the growth for the last two years has been fueled by the latest Forester and XV Crosstrek last year and the new Legacy and Outback this year. "The market is telling us that we are delivering products that consumers want at the right prices," said Thomas J. Doll, president and chief operating officer at Subaru of America.
