This
is a really nice Suburu Impreza Sedan. I took this car as a partial trade on one of my collector cars. I'll tell you what I was told and what I can see. The car has a clean carfax and I was told no accidents... There is no collision damage that I can see. It has low original miles and was dealer serviced most of its life. It looks, runs, and drives great. It's quite quick and really fun to drive. Great condition all around. I've put a couple hundred miles on it and got it detailed... thats it. Everything works as it should as far as I can tell... electronics, gauges, A/C, heat, cruise control etc. It has a had all its major services and has been well maintained... has recent brakes all around. I'm a car collector with many vehicles... I have no need for this car so am selling it... I believe it will make someone an excellent, reliable, fun daily driver. The body is super straight with no signs of collision damage or rust that I can see... Paint presents nicely with some niks and blemishes. Has a pinpoint chip in the windshield The interior is nice. Seats are comfortable and look great. Panels, and headliner are in nice shape. Cold A/C and all Electronics, heat, and lights all work properly. Carpet has a small wear mark at drivers heel pad. 2.5 motor starts idles and runs fantastic. 5- speed manual trans feels great. Rides beautifully and stops straight and sure. All Wheel Drive is awesome! Overall this is a really straight, honest fun Car in great condition all around. Awesome daily driver. I am a collector with alot of cars and really enjoy driving this one.... Fly in and drive it home. The car is located in Beverly Hills... Inspections are welcome and encouraged... serious buyers can call me at 310 850 8980 but no tire kickers please. I'm open to interesting trades (within ebay guidelines) but no projects or junk please. IMPORTANT: I have tried to describe this vehicle as accurately and honestly as possible but please remember it is a used vehicle. As with any vehicle, (new or used) there may be issues that I have overlooked or am unaware of. If you are not familiar with purchasing used vehicles and or specialty vehicles or you have not purchased a vehicle using the Internet, PLEASE do your research, ask questions, make sure you are comfortable with me as a seller, the vehicle, and the process. Unless stated otherwise, I am not offering a warranty so if you want one, let's discuss it and document it before the purchase is final. Otherwise there is no warranty expressed or implied. THANKS! Revisit the charms of the 1978 Subaru Brat
Mon, 27 Jan 2014The Subaru Brat is the automotive equivalent of a teenager with a mullet: weird, a little reckless but brimming with enough self-confidence to make it cool.
The Brat came from Subaru's desire to compete in the burgeoning light pickup market of the late-1970s. To get around the so-called Chicken Tax that added a 25 percent tariff on imported pickup trucks, Subaru threw two seats in the bed, which technically allowed it to be classified it as a passenger car. The result was a great, weird combination of a complete lack of safety, with a low price and lots of driving fun.
In the video below, Motor Trend's Johnny Lieberman takes a 1978 Brat through the desert and shows just how much fun a little pickup can be.
Subaru WRX STI prototype spied in motion
Thu, 18 Apr 2013Earlier this week, we got all hot and bothered over a set of spy photos showing the next-generation Subaru WRX STI testing at the Nürburgring. And while pretty still shots of a camouflaged car are always nice to look at, stirring up lots of speculation, having video is even better. Good thing, then, that our trusty spies were on hand to get some rolling footage of that STI as it lapped the infamous German track.
Now, as a good majority of the comments on our previous post will point out, it looks like Subaru has dumbed down the design of that decidedly hot WRX Concept from New York for the road-going car. Of course, we need to wait until all that swirly paper is pulled off the body, but from what we can see here, it looks like this new 'Rex will be more akin to the current Impreza than we were originally led to believe.
So while we wait and hope that what's under the camouflage will be something sexy, have a look at the video below to watch the WRX STI prototype get worked out on the 'Ring.
Days 3-5: Our 4 favorite Patagonia timelapse videos | Subarus in South America
Sat, Feb 20 2016Sorry for the break in daily updates, Autoblog In Patagonia fans. McGraw and I spent the last two nights at a hotel so remote, it doesn't even technically have an address – just coordinates. We barely had wifi access and couldn't even get a cell signal most of the time, but now we're back with another quick update about our adventures in South America. Since our last writing, we hopped in a Subaru Forester and checked out the massive Perito Moreno glacier, crossed the border into Chile and spent all of Thursday inside the Torres del Paine national park. We drove Outbacks and Crosstreks on some truly epic dirt roads up and down mountains, and even took a break to do a little fishing (we can't work all the time). Friday, our journey took us even more south to Punta Arenas, Chile, and on Saturday we'll cross the Straits of Magellan and head back into Argentina, to fulfill our quest of driving to the southernmost drivable point in the world (outside of Antarctica). Since we've had lots of time on our hands, we decided to take some timelapse videos of the epic scenery here in Chile, and that's what we're bringing you this time around, in the video above. We'll have another update soon. In the meantime, check out our Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram feeds to see what we've posted on our very spotty cell coverage. We can't wait to show you everything we experienced when the big, final story comes out later this month. Auto News Subaru Videos patagonia autoblog in patagonia
