I'm selling my 2013 WRX STi Sedan in Pearl Blue Plasma in EXCELLENT condition. It has 15,200 miles on the clock, mostly highway driven to/from work everyday. I love my STi, but I have decided to go a different route. She has been treated like a queen and in return she has treated me like a king. I have never ever launched the car. You are buying this STi from a very experienced stick shift driver.

The car has been tuned and perfected with very minimal, but professionally done, bolt-on modifications.

The modifications done to the vehicle are as follows:
Invidia Q300 CBE
Cobb Catted Downpipe
Cobb Heat shield
DW65c Fuel Pump
Cobb Accessport
K&N Drop-in filter

The car has been professionally tune by owner John @ Akuma Motorsports in Woodbridge Township, NJ. Nothing to the car was done without tuner input. The car is PERFECTLY tuned for reliability and power as this was/is my daily driver. We made a conservative 287WHP & 334WTQ @19.5psi on a Mustang Dyno. The car makes 400BHP. I have printed Dyno results along with an invoice of work done to the vehicle.

There are no scratches, dings, dents, stories, nothing. It's a 2013. It is BRAND NEW. All modifications done to the car were purchased brand new for top dollar. No expense was spared. The car has just recently been strapped with a set of 4 brand new all-season tires. I will also have the car detailed professionally upon purchase. You will have no regrets purchasing this amazing vehicle.

I will not respond to low-ball offers. I also do not NEED to sell the car. If you are genuinely interested in purchasing feel free to contact me. I will answer any questions or concerns you have with the car. My cell is 201-602-8864.

WRX Concept styling may transfer to production Impreza, next WRX

Thu, 05 Jun 2014

Remember the original concept that previewed the latest generation Subaru WRX? If not, then just look above for a gallery of photos following its debut at the 2013 New York Auto Show. We loved it, and thus, were sort of disappointed when we first saw the less-aggressive production model.
It's not that the production 2015 WRX is ugly, per se. It just doesn't have the gaping grille, four-door coupe lines or squinting headlights that give the concept so much verve. But as it turns out, Subaru might have realized that it was on the right track with the more assertive styling. Rumors coming out of Australia suggest that the shape could form the basis for the next-generation Impreza, and next WRX, along with a major platform shift.
Subaru chief designer Mamoru Ishii tells Motoring that that the next-generation car will ditch the rather utilitarian current design in favor of something more exciting. Like the WRX concept, the design will start wide at the bottom for an aggressive stance and taper up to the roof. That styling would likely get even more aggressive for the next 'Rex.

Consumer Reports says Toyota, Ford, Honda and Chevy are big winners in brand perception survey

Wed, 05 Feb 2014

According to Consumer Reports, the automotive brands that stand out in the minds of car buyers are, in order: Toyota, Ford, Honda and Chevrolet. This news comes after the magazine polled its readers, asking them to take into account vehicle quality, safety, performance, value, fuel economy, design/style, and technology/innovation - which are the factors that car shoppers are most influenced by.
It's important to note that this award is only about perception. In other words, it's perceived quality, not actual quality. "Often, perception can be a trailing indicator, reflecting years of good or bad performance in a category, and it can also be influenced by headlines in the media," said Jeff Bartlett, Consumer Reports deputy automotive editor.
The brand that made the biggest jump in perception amongst Consumer Reports readers is Tesla, which posted an impressive 47-point gain to finish in fifth place. Subaru is also notable for finishing in the top 10, despite being one of the smaller manufacturers doing business in the US. Scroll down below for all the details from Consumer Reports, if you're so inclined.

Next-gen Subaru WRX STI spotted at the N"urburgring

Tue, 16 Apr 2013

Subaru has been busy testing the next-generation WRX STI. Well, it may be the STI. The big wing out back lends some credence to that theory, but it could be that the basic WRX is getting new action in the back section. Time will tell.
In either case, spy photographers nabbed a few shots of the heavily camouflaged sedan running around the Nürburgring. Unfortunately, it looks as if Subaru has taken some of the sexy out of the WRX Concept we saw at the New York Auto Show, leaving this car looking more derivative of the current model than a revolution in design. The bold power bulge has disappeared from the vehicle's hood and the lower fascia looks far more demure than the the wild concept. Likewise, the muscular rear fenders have been toned down substantially.
The result is a car that looks more like a mildly warmed over version of the current model than a production version of the WRX Concept. Still, engineers and designers may have a long way to go before the finished product hits the market, so we'll reserve final judgement for now. After all, the early BRZ mules were nothing short of a travesty to look at, and we know how that turned out. Hope springs eternal.
