All oil changes were done at the Subaru dealership. Everything done to the car has been documented as well. All receipts for mounting tires, installing parts, etc. have been kept as well. Only 93 Octane has been used as well as Fully Synthetic oil. The exhaust was installed by Speed Industry, a local tuning shop in Michigan. The paint has minor wear as it has been my daily driver. Miles will go up as I drive it. Car has no issues really except the intermittent clutch clicking noise when the clutch is pressed. This is a problem with many WRX's and has really no effect on performance.

Modifications:

TurboXS GT series Catback Exhaust
LED Switchback Turn Signals w/ Relay
LED DRL
HID Lowbeams
Muteki Lug Nuts
Kartboy Short Shifter
Kartboy Front & Rear shifter bushings (Not installed)
White Hella Horns w/ Subiemods harness (Not installed)
Toyo Extenza HP All Season Tires (2nd winter being used)
WC Lathewerks Burnt Piston Shift knob
Cobb Blue Shift knob
18% Window Tint

Auto Dimming Mirror
STi Short Throw Shifter
All Season Mats
Armrest Extension

I also have ALL the stock parts that have been removed for the modification and will include them in the sale.

The wheels have some curb rash from driving in the winter. I get the both sets of tires mounted on the same wheels for winter and summer. There is some small marks underneath the front bumper from hitting the bottom of my driveway. Finally, the car's passenger fender was hit in the parking lot a little over a year ago. The damages were fixed at a local body shop and the vehicle history report is clean.

The Premium model comes with:

Tilt Moonroof
Fog Lights
Heated Seats

Once again, I have not beat on my WRX. Its been mainly used as a grocery getter and commuter car. I usually do a full detail once a month and try to keep the interior as clean as possible. I use Collinite brand wax as my LSP. The backseat has been sat in a handful of times as well.

There has been minor damage to the car on the passenger side fender while it was parked. THE TITLE IS STILL CLEAN. The damage was paid for and repaired by the person who damaged it. The car still drives like it did the first day I drove it off the lot. Performance and handling are still great. The title is clean and I have screenshots of the title check if you would like to see.

If you have any questions please e-mail me. Also, I will include a set of All-Season tires that I used for winter. The car comes with Summer tires. I'm NOT looking for any trades.

Thank you!

Mark Higgins sets new Isle of Man record in Subaru STI

Wed, 04 Jun 2014

Subaru has done it again, setting a new four-wheel lap record around the 37.75-mile TT Mountain Course at the Isle of Man. Mark Higgins in a 2015 WRX STI rocketed through the country roads at an average speed of 116.40 miles per hour to circle the track in 19 minutes, 26 seconds, thereby beating his previous record of 19 minutes 56.7 seconds from 2011 in an STI.
According to Subaru, speeds during the lap ranged from as little as 30 mph to over 160 mph. The STI was mostly stock with the only major mechanical change being different springs and dampers to handle the course's famous bumps at such sustained high speeds. For safety, it also had a rollcage, racing harness, and fire suppression system.
"It was quite a lap we did today and I am really happy to have another record in the bank. The chassis of the new car is so much better it really allowed me to pick up time in each sector in the more technical parts of the course," said Higgins about the run in the Subaru.

2017 Toyota 86 Drivers' Notes | Fun, even with an automatic

Fri, Aug 25 2017

The Toyota 86 is a car that enthusiasts begged Toyota to build for decades. It's small, lightweight and rear-wheel drive. Thanks to a partnership with Subaru that resulted in the BRZ, this stylish coupe hit the streets in 2012. In the U.S., the car was originally known as the Scion FR-S but was rebadged as a Toyota after Scion was axed last year. Along with a new name, the 86 received updated styling both inside and out as well as a revised suspension and a slight bump in power, at least for the manual models. This Hot Lava-colored car doesn't feature Toyota's slick six-speed manual. Instead it rocks a six-speed automatic with paddle shifters. While some enthusiasts may look down at that, automatics make up more than half of 86 sales. Still, the bones are there, and some people don't think the automatic is all that bad. Either way, we can't encourage enough people to buy these cars, as we want Toyota and Subaru to keep building them. Senior Editor, Green, John Beltz Snyder: When I first slid behind the wheel of the 86, I was surprised to see the gear selector and paddles. It's one of those cars that you don't think of as having anything but a manual transmission. Also, in an interior where all the controls and displays are underwhelming, a set of paddle shifters stands out as one of the few tactile objects in the cabin. I ended up using the paddles quite a bit, and found that I actually enjoyed using them, so much so that I'd actually consider opting for the automatic transmission were I to buy an 86. Despite shifts that aren't as razor sharp as they could be, the car's high-revving engine means that it still feels great to use. Riding an engine like this up to its redline, filling the cabin with noise, is the sort of thing that'll give you goosebumps. Being able to keep both hands on the wheel while shifting is a good thing for engagement in this car, based on my time with it. Plus, when I got stuck in traffic, I didn't have to wear out my left leg. The other brilliant thing about the Toyota 86 is its sense of balance. I loved the way it communicated its load distribution when cornering, whether on or off the throttle or brake. The fact that the nose of this car snaps right to where you want it when you start dialing in steering angle is satisfying. And its low stance and good view out the windshield make it really easy to place on the road.

Xcar rates AWD vs. FWD vs. RWD

Tue, Feb 24 2015

With snow and ice blanketing large swathes of the United States over the past few weeks, commuting hasn't been easy. Among some drivers, there's an ongoing debate about how much all-wheel drive really helps when it gets slippery and whether rear-drive is as bad in slick conditions as many people think. Xcar Films puts some of those beliefs to the test in its latest video by showing off three very different cars taking on a trio of low-grip challenges. Xcar's picks for the test include the fairly plebeian, all-wheel drive Subaru Impreza, the somewhat plush, rear-drive BMW 120d and the sporty, front-drive Renault Megane RS 275 Trophy. Things start out easy with a hydraulic plate forcing the back end out on a wet skid pad. From there, the tests get really interesting with a slalom on simulated ice, and the cars finish with a high-speed cornering challenge through a soaked turn. While an obvious winner emerges in the end, keep in mind this is hardly a scientific test of grip. For better accuracy, all three vehicles should be wearing identical tires, and the same driver should be behind the wheel of each one. Still, Xcar's examination is a fun chance to see how vehicles react when things get slick.
