This is a very clean, well cared for 2011 STi. The oil has been changed every 3,000 miles religiously using Motul's 5w30 which suits the boxer engine well. This car is equipped with tasteful modifications, however all OEM parts are still with the car.

Modifications are as follows:

Cobb Accessport on Cobbs Stage 2/Intake OTS map. (The car has been running the same map for over 10,000 miles and it feels perfect, no detonation)
Invidia N1 Dual catback exhaust with titanium tips as well as Invidia v3 catless downpipe.
AEM Cold Air Intake
BC BR coilovers with Gold 18x10 Rota SVN-R wheels. Tires are 240/45/18 Nexen N3000 with about 75 % tread remaining. (Minor fender roll and pull was required for proper fitment. A performance alignment was done as well. Handles great, with an aggressive stance.
JNA C-Style front lip

All service and modifications have been performed by the well known and reputable IAG performance in Westminster MD.

The exterior is in great condition with no noticeable dings or scratches. The interior is perfect, and has never been smoked in. It now has 38,200 miles and will be parked in my garage until sold. Always garage kept and never irresponsibly parked. I would also like to emphasize that this car was NOT daily driven.

Subaru revisits 1998 Impreza 22B STI

It was 1998 when Subaru made some crucial changes to its World Rally Championship Impreza, such as increasing the displacement of the turbocharged flat-four-cylinder engine from 2.0 to 2.2 liters and fitting wide fender flares. Subaru won the WRC manufacturer championship with the car that year, and it also was the year of the automaker's 40th anniversary. To celebrate the milestone, the company came out with this limited-edition, road-going Impreza, the hallowed 22B STI, which looked nearly identical to the rally car.
Only 424 22Bs were built, and most of them stayed in Japan. But Dominick Infante, national manager of product communications at Subaru of America, was able to secure a drive in one of the only two 22Bs in the US. He details the car's history and some of the design and engineering cues that made the Impreza STI so popular both in motorsport and on the street, but we were caught up listening to the exhaust and admiring the timeless blue-and-gold paint. Okay, okay - by this point in time just liking the Toyota GT86 (Scion FR-S, Subaru BRZ, what have you) doesn't make you special. Even if you're a sort of funny sounding, funny looking Irishman, who probably isn't the most seasoned car reviewer ever, digging the GT86 is not news.
However, if, when you choose to publish your ten-minute-long review, you include exclamatory phrases about your own pubic hair, Ozzy Osborne's drug habit and "gentleman vegetable stuff," well sir, then you'll have our attention.
Don't give up on this video, available down below, after the first couple of minutes, we implore you. The silver-tongued Irishman doesn't really get warmed up until four minutes in, or so. Believe us, it's worth the wait.

2015 Subaru WRX and WRX STI configurator comes online

Subaru fans, get your clicking fingers ready - the configurator for both the 2015 WRX and the WRX STI are live on the company's consumer website.
With three trims of the standard WRX and two of the WRX STI available, customers can price out their ideal rally rocket. Aside from choosing a trim level, there's not a whole lot for dreamers to do here. A single interior trim (black) can be paired with a decent spectrum of colors. Each trim level only comes with one optional package, which ranges from $2,000 to $2,500 and includes some combination of navigation, a Harmon/Kardon stereo or push-button start. There are also a number of dealer-installed accessories available, as well.
