Having another baby and although we love our Sub, we have to sell her.  My wife has had this car for a little over a year. We bought it from a professional who rebuilds lightly damage Subarus and Audis. It has been a great car, just a little too small.  The damage that was on the vehicle was the front right. He replaced hood, fender, radiator, and about 12 inches of the frame.  He showed me exactly how he does this and the car rides perfect.  I got a pretty good deal on car so I am passing this savings on to you as we are going to buy another car from him that is a little larger.

Since we have had we have put new rotors and brake pads on the front and about 6 months ago we put on new tires from sams club.

the AWD is spectacular and gave my wife some feeling of security in the South Dakota icy roads.

The car has 6 disc cd changer, heated cloth seats(front), fold down rear seats, a/c, power windows/locks.  It has always been well maintained, semi synthetic oil, etc.  WE have a personal friend who was a mechanic at the local Subaru dealership but now does his own thing and he has been the one who has done the maintenence.

No warranty because of the title but you should have no problems..you are welcome to take the car to your mechanic for any inspections, etc.

I might be able to deliver this car if you provide a down payment, etc.

Any questions, send me a message with your phone and I will call you.

Private party value is 15200.

ps-- clear coat is coming off of just the lower plastic bumper in front. They must not of roughed up this plastic enough prior to clearcoating it.   Pics show the area. I am guessing it can be resprayed for less then 200 dollars.

A closer look at the 2015 Subaru Legacy

Sun, 16 Feb 2014

The Subaru Legacy might not have been the hottest debut at the recent Chicago Auto Show, but for the Japanese automaker, it's hugely important. Much as we'd love to focus on Subaru's more engaging WRX, STI and BRZ models, the truth is, its the mainstream Forester, Outback and Legacy that make up the vast majority of the brand's sales, not to mention the Impreza and XV Crosstrek.
This new Legacy looks to gain a lot more traction in the mainstream market than its predecessor, with handsome, if familiar, styling, standard all-wheel drive, and more efficient powertrains. Under the hood, customers can choose between a 2.5-liter boxer-four, or a more powerful six-cylinder engine. Subaru says that the four-cylinder setup actually boasts class-leading fuel economy for all-wheel-drive vehicles in the Legacy's class.
West coast editor Michael Harley stopped by the Subaru stand for a closer look at the 2015 Legacy. Check it out in the video below.

Hitting The Mainstream Sweet Spot
The Forester does quite a bit of heavy lifting for Subaru. What was once a plucky little all-wheel-drive utility box has matured into a competitive crossover that accounts for a quarter of the company's total sales in the US. With those numbers continuing to swell even in the third generation's twilight hours, engineers and designers found themselves in the unenviable position of being asked to fix what ain't broke. Rather than reinvent the company's workhorse from the ground up, as we say in our first look at the CUV, Subaru honed the Forester to offer better fuel efficiency, more usable space and a more refined drive.
In doing so, the automaker hopes to toe that delicate line between luring in new devotees to the cult of Pleiades and keeping the brand's longtime fans smiling. While the fourth-generation Forester may have lost some of its trademark pluckiness in the pursuit of a more mainstream existence, there's no denying this is a more sorted vehicle than its predecessors. Make no mistake, the 2014 Forester is keen to carve out a larger chunk of the ever-plumping CUV market for itself, and for the first time in its history, it has the muscle to do so.

Factory Five's Subaru WRX-based 818 kit now on sale [w/video]

Fri, 21 Mar 2014

The Subaru WRX has always needed a dash more style, and the do-it-yourself carmakers at Factory Five are looking to accomplish a lot more than that with their new mid-engine, rear-wheel drive 818. The sports car started with a contest in 2011 to create the shape for the company's next vehicle, while sticking within certain limits. A designer named Nouphone Bansasi had his entry chosen, and first cars were completed last year.
The 818 is named after its target weight of 818 kilograms (1,803 pounds), and it's offered in two forms. The S starts at $9,990 and is meant for street use, with two seats and a basic interior. The R model for $10,990 is more track-focused and features a tiny windshield and full roll cage. The company claims that complete cars can be built for around $15,000, after factoring in the donor Subaru. Performance is very brisk, with acceleration to 60 miles per hour in under four seconds, according to Motor Authority.
The kits are meant to be something that even a relative novice could put together. All the builder needs to provide is a 2002-2007 Impreza or WRX. The car donates its turbocharged boxer four-cylinder engine, transmission, axles, brakes, steering and other major components. Factory Five supplies the spaceframe, body, suspension, lights, windshield and some interior trim. It doesn't even need paint, thanks to its gel-coated fiberglass body panels. The company also offers a laundry list of options, including carbon fiber aero components, upgraded suspension parts, improved brakes and more. Kits can be ordered in either left- or right-hand drive.
